Great crowd to with no away support. I'd be interested to know how many of the 1,903 only came in to buy a Wrexham ticket, and then left. It could be said they were the sensible ones! But it didn't look like a 1,900 crowd from where I was standing, in that I could have swung a cat if I'd wanted to (and had brought one).

Coming to a game, and not seeing the game to get a Stevenage replay ticket, I sort of get! Coming to a game, and not seeing the game to get a Wrexham ticket, is quite frankly crazy You're quite happy to drive / train / coach for 10 hours to watch 90 mins football, but cant watch 90 mins of football just down the road! Madness!

I think 1900 seemed about right. They were two deep on the rail down most of the stand side so I would guess the other side was about the same, and both ends looked pretty full in the first half, although as usual the springfield end emptied out a bit after the break.

Disagree, as someone who stands behind the goal, that crowd seemed more like a 1400-1600 rather than 1900! Having said that the previous attendances might have been wrong!

What ever if felt like 1900 or 1600 it's a lot more than every other team in the league got including the ones right at the top It would be good to have a steady average of 1800 for home Saturday league games. Then in the special games I.e. Hendon and Margate at home get closer to full attendance.

G*lls and Charlton were both at home too... so us as some of their fans' second club might be true for some but not many.

I agree that it's the Springfield end which often isn't full. Many people (myself included) prefer the side view of being on the rail, and so there aren't spaces even when the crowd is smaller.

And most of those were originally league sides. If you only include non-league or non-league promoted into the FL and then relegated back, we are 4th. In fact, if you only compare real non-league sides (as, officially, we have never been in the FL in our current manifestation), and you ignore that silly Man United supporters club, we are 2nd. And, with a couple more decent crowds, we'd be first! Stats - doncha just love em?!

...and even with some of those Conferences sides, their figures get a big boost from traveling support, which we see very little of at the Gallagher - Wrexham for example, excluding the visit of Grimsby when they got over 8000, their average home gate drops by over 400

But is a world where we get 'excited' by a visit by Grimsby to Wrexham really one we want to be part of...

A lot of people who didn't need to purchase tickets to get entry. Compare a game that's very close to capacity (e.g. Bognor or Wealdstone at home last year) with one of the games supposedly at capacity and it's likely the club doesn't report the actual number of people in the stadium at those games.
