This matter should be taken seriously by the club and is very easily resolved. I agree totally with the comments regarding "crocodile Dundee". He needs to be spending less time in the VIP area and more time in the areas where his expertise are required. Maybe a change of personnel needed? If there is the will to resolve this matter then let the stewards remove the offenders from the ground. If required I am sure with a bit of pre planning, liaison by the "security head" Kent Police would assist if required. A public show of strength would send the message to any wannabe morons. If the offenders have been identified and there is evidence of criminal behaviour then hand over the evidence to the police who would investigate and then through judicial process football banning orders etc could be invoked. There is a dedicated football liason officer at the police. Fan power is important if you see or hear something tell the stewards, don't get involved in physical confrontation but use the proper channels to remove this problem. We all love our team so let's be the best we can on and off the field.

I do hope the powers that be don't simply burry their heads in the sand again. Because this haven't worked over the last year where its appeared to have got worse despite the club claiming to have a zero tolerance. Some of the chanting at Margate and Dulwich at home made me cringe it's so embarrassing for the reputation of the club and it's 99% of wonderful fan's

Banning orders don't come down as far as our level that's why we end up with a small handful of idiots at non league Is there a reason why this is so? The way I understand it a order bans the said person from a mile radius around all 92 pro clubs grounds from three hours before to two hours after a first team game. This must be near impossible for the smaller league club's to enforce this into there cash turnstiles with hundreds on orders. So there must be done by police spotters or cctv spotters around the ground it must be so expensive and difficult in league one and two and therefore impossible further down.

Banning orders don't come down as far as our level that's why we end up with a small handful of idiots at non league Is there a reason why this is so? The legislation that cover this is massive and would run into hundreds of pages of legal documents. In short though the FA has different catalogues of game, A being premiership, B championship with the lowest class C. From memory the conference prem is covered but I'm not sure about the north and south. This is also one of the reasons we are allowed to drink in view of the pitch apart from FA cup as these are categorised. A banning order will be individual to each person and will not prevent anyone from being within a mile of a ground as that would be a logistical nightmare to enforce. I have a feeling it will be down to the fact that there are so many non league clubs out there that it would never be able to be cascaded down. I see that within the ground regs that they reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone on a banning order. I have no clue how they would know who is and who isn't. It will be down to the club to ban anyone they want and to enforce it.

Couldn't we just station a couple of burly stewards in the middle of the Town End as a deterrent? It worked with nuclear missiles.

Incredible thread, someone swears a lot, idiotic I know and 7 pages, someone lets off a smoke canister in a crowded, confined space, surely this was far more idiotic and dangerous (for a minute it was quite frightening, I know I was in the middle of it), but no one mentions it.
