Verbal abuse of a keeper is nothing new is it?ask Les apps .It happens every week at every level,wrong but its not going to stop.

Further up the pyramid Keepers get training to deal with it .Worgan laughs it off and jokes back,someone called him Gay last season worgs blew him kisses back ,there fan blushed and shut up.

Stevenage keeper Chris Day got on a par or worse than the lad last night ,no ones mentioned that ,so keep it real.

I was in the Town end for the Dulwich game I got to say I felt embarrassed by the constant vile abuse thrown at Dulwich fans and players a like.
Dulwich are a club I have a lot of time for as far as I know we never had a problem with them so only a few embarrassed us there.
As far as I could see it was no more then half a dozon idots with loads were looking on all thinking the same but no one spoke up.
However more and more kids were joined in as the game went on thinking it was so big and funny.
As others have said the vast majority of the townenders are a credit to the club with there vocal support of the team it's such a shame only a few are contaminating the club while our stewards look on.

As a regular in the Town End i must say that the abuse the keeper got was well over the top and certainly not needed.The young lad seemed visably shaken by this at the end and i felt sorry for him.At the start of the 2nd half he was having a laugh and joke with some of us and was fine but all the shit he got after was not called for.As for all of us being morons think again sennockian.

Would just like to say that in the last few months my son and I have started following Maidstone and every game we proudly stand at the town end and enjoy the banter that is heard through-out the game, as a parent I tell my son that the language he hear,s inside the ground stays inside the ground.It,s been like this for years and years and always will be, I think it,s what makes the atmosphere, and makes us want to keep returning to the ground week after week.

Banter with other fans, Referees a wanker every now and again, etc etc... Fair enough. I'll have a shout and swear or whetever, I'm 25 and quite enjoy all that.  

But 45 mins of abuse aimed solely at one young lad who's having a bad enough night as it is at our teams expense - Not on. Like another poster said, visibly shaken, tried to laugh along (At which point these bellends should of stopped) but wasn't working. 

On top of that he was genuinely f**king annoying and didn't seem to realise that nobody else was joining in with his "Banter"

Its all about getting behind your team out singing your opponents maybe a bit of friendly banter the odd swearword but lets not be this nasty club.
This sort of vile abuse will spread if not stopped then how will be viewed in the town and around the country we are not thugs.
