I noticed that the premmier inn on friday morning was pricemat £35.oo and this price soon went up, as the rooms were being booked up quickly, i see that the national express coach leaves maidstone at 08.05, you change at victoria coach station for the 10.30 coach and get there at 16.20, but there is no coach coming back that day, you have to go home on the sunday You can get a train back to Maidstone arriving at 01.11. Although you need to divide the journey so that you get a ticket from Wrexham General to Crewe , then a ticket from Crewe to Maidstone East. The National Rail website won't let you unless you enter each journey separately (as above), probably because there's only 6 minutes to change at Crewe.

oh i see, when i looked on the trainline.com it only gave you the option to change at chester, and you had to leave wrexham at 17.44 to get back to maidstone, as you say, i guess the 6 minutes to change at Crewe would throw things into chaos, if it is late

You're right you still have to change at chester, but you can get the 19.46 from Wrexham General and arrive in Crewe at 20.41, 6 minutes before the next train to London Euston. It's a risk but may be worth it.

There could be Stones fans stranded in London on Saturday night and what makes it worse there is engineering works on Sunday as I live in Faversham.

Change the word stranded to 'on the lash' then your paragraph is complete. Carry on sir.

After all these travel arrangements being made by fans I do hope the club think about the traveling fans when the replay tickets go on sale this time.( If we don't win on the day that is.)

Hotel booked, just going to drive up early Saturday and come back Sunday, not worth the pissing around as far as I'm concerned, we've got a full car so the cost of hotel and petrol is about the same as getting the train anyway.

Perhaps your club don't think you'll sell more due to TV/kick-off time. We've given up the stand behind the goal if it is needed for a larger away following plenty of times before, so we would have done again, if asked.

Bit of a bugger really, I was hoping we'd take loads but now we just can't!

Unless the 1000 tickets are sold out, the club might ask for more. Surely Wrexham wants the stadium full.

That's why we wouldn't have stood in your way if you wanted the larger stand behind the goal...
