Firstly, congratulations on your win tonight!
For those making the long trip, here's a little guide to Wrexham football club (the third oldest professional team in the world) and the Racecourse Ground (the oldest international stadium in the world).
Travel
Car: Take the M54 from the M6 (Junction 10A Northbound). Follow the M54 to the end of the motorway and join the A5 towards Shrewsbury. Continue on the A5 past Shrewsbury and Oswestry and then join the A483 towards Wrexham. Stay on the A483 as you reach Wrexham (this is the Wrexham by-pass).
Train: Wrexham General train station is located next to the ground.
Hotels
As it is an evening kick off, some of you may be making a night of it (or two!).
Ramada Plaza - Ramada Wrexham
Premier Inn (opposite the ground & Station) - Premier Inn Wrexham Town Centre
Premier Inn A483 (located just outside Wrexham in Gresford, around 3 miles from the stadium) - Premier Inn (Wrexham A483)
Pubs
Wrexham has more pubs per population the anywhere else in the UK! You'll receive a warm welcome in any pub near the ground or in the centre. Plenty of pubs can be found in the town centre - a ten minute walk from the ground/station, from the usual Wetherspoons, Lloyd's and Yates's to traditional pubs. Around the ground you have The Turf (located at the corner of the stadium), The Centenary Club (located underneath the Main Stand, where away fans will be housed, the Maes Gwyn which is opposite the University, which is a favourite of mine, as it is less busy than others and you can have a pint of Wrexham Lager. The The Plas Coch, which is located on the retail park behind the University and a short 5 minute walk away is a traditional away fan pub.
If you're a real ale drinker, The Pant-yr-Ochain is a great choice but is about 3 miles from Wrexham in nearby Gresford, as is Griffin Inn. The Royal Oak and Golden Lion on the High Street also provide an excellent array of real ales.
For those younger (and not so young!) there's plenty of bars and clubs located around the Town Hill and Brook Street areas of the town if you wish to make a late night of it.

The Ground
As I mentioned earlier, our ground is the oldest international stadium in the world and has a great mix of old and new, sadly the Kop End is shut, so it leaves a three sided all-seater ground. The Away end is the wing of the Main Stand upper tier where up to 800 away fans can be allocated, the lower wing can be allocated for an additional 600 if needed.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on the 6th. Any questions feel free to ask!

Nice one wrecsam except you forgot one thing - to tell Stones fans to pack some longjohns!!This is from the voice of experience after watching many Wrexham games in European Cup and league games while in college at Catrefle back in the 70's - The Racecourse can get b***** chilly in Dec! Hoping to get to the game and meet up with some old friends from Llangollen and watch the Stones make it to the next round. Looking forward to a great game at a your great club and the Welsh hospitality and also look forward to playing you again in the Football League in the not too distant future.

You're not wrong, the ground is unusually chilly, so much so the Mold Road Stand is nicknamed the Cold Road Stand. I'm sure there'll be plenty of Stones fans to keep the warmth in the away end.

So thats a maximum of 1400 seats? I wonder how they will do the ticketing? It depends, if you think you'll bring more, we may give you the Glyndwr University stand behind the goal, which is traditionally the home end since the Kop shut but used to be the away end. Up to 2,000 fans can be accommodated in the upper and 800 fans in the lower tier.
Main Stand: away end is top left (overspill is beneath)
Glyndwr University Stand:

Now, now Johnny be nice - they have to graze all those sheep up there somewhere and it is a rather good stadium and well worth a visit - even if we have to play on grass to enjoy a ' dirty weekend ' !!!

Wrexham might be a level below Stevenage but it feels like a bigger club, bigger ground, more history. Another chapter in the history...
