Westley reckons quote " the safety of his players could be placed at risk by a replay on Maidstones artificial surface. Players safety and well being is in jeopardy." What a load of b******s ! We are used to managets blaming the pitch when they lose but before the game. As we proved yesterday we can perform on both. Do these people realise what damage they can do making crass statements like this. The only thing in jeopardy is the future of football as many clubs as we have seen already gone bust which could have been saved with 3G business model. I really hope we beat them next week by playing them off the "plastic"

Must be murder for his players training on 3G, and a huge relief for them to stop injuring themselves by playing matches on grass once a week.
We are just going to have to get used to such nonsense as we rise through the leagues and our profile rises. Being a pioneer is never easy.

Didn't he take Stevenage down last year? And they are currently 16th in League Two, and one game away from defeat to a team 3 leagues lower.
Yep, the guy is under pressure!!!

He will be under more pressure after we turf him out of the cup. I feel sorry for Stevenage having such a dick head as manager.

The way this pratt bangs on he better get used to coming to Kent,Welling ,Dover,Dartford and Bromley could all be waiting for him, thats if he still has a job.

interesting statement really considering Michael Charles of Met Police played on it with no problem.
Sadly Mr Charles now faces a 12 month lay off with an ACL injury sustained from playing on grass on Saturday.
Perhaps it's actually time grass pitches were looked at in more focus rather than continually find apparent fault with alternatives
Ironic as well considering one of his own players, Tom Pett, has openly praised our pitch.

This is the same bloke who said he would get Farnborough into the Champions League within 10 years. Also switched their cup match with Arsenal to Highbury to make extra money, then fucked off to Stevenage two days later with seven of Farnborough's best players and Half a million quid from the Arsenal match.

The only thing that disappointed me about yesterday was that we didn't sing "Westley is wanker". This is sung by every opposition that plays against one his sides. Can we put this right in the replay? We may even get some Stevenage fans joining in based on what I heard from some after the game.

I think the mans done a top job.....for us! Nothing like an opposition coming to us with a negative attitude and thinking of excuses before a balls been kicked.
