Don't you have a friend/family member that doesn't want a ticket that lives local? Even a season ticket holder that gets there's on the Saturday may pop back on the Sunday for you? I understand there are always loyal fans that have difficulties because they aren't local, but to sell more than 1 ticket per person will be a disaster for many!

I can't see why they can't just offer an online option too (OK it wont help everyone, but would be handy option for exiles)? The club have a CRM system don't they (I could be wrong in which case ignore me)? Surely if that is getting used properly they could send out email links to a buy online page for member/season ticket holders? Make sure they include name, type of membership (season/VP/fan club) and membership number & just scratch them off the list after a sale so they can't buy more than one. Again they could just target exiled members with a message to phone "this number" to secure your ticket kind of thing - you could do that from a basic database even. Thinking about it you could just send it out by email to members / season ticket holders without any systems tbf. Whilst I'm at it sell coach tickets online too you arses! Right, I'm off before Nadine punches me in the face.

As I cant buy a ticket untill Tuesday so there's no way thay should sell more then one per person but how the hell can this be enforced ? My best bet could be a tickets tout or someone with extra tickets.

Although the website does say one ticket per person for season ticket holders, vice presidents and FA club members I can see no mention that this applies when the tickets go on general sale. I seem to recall it was multiple purchases at the general sale that upset people who missed out last time. Anyone know if the club have clarified this? Also any idea what the Welling allocation is?

It's a right pain in the backside if you live in North London though and they aren't even selling them at Saturdays game. There is a real time and money cost trekking down just to get a ticket when with two tickets per person one of my Maidstone based mates could pick one up for me. WS According to stones website tickets on sale friday from 4pm and at sat game

Is the official supporters club something you have to join every year? Found a membership card but only says season 2013-2014 on it!!

How many of you travelled to the game sat ? Surely us who spent nearly four hours on a coach towatch an away fa cup game should get first offers ?

There is a real time and money cost trekking down just to get a ticket when with two tickets per person one of my Maidstone based mates could pick one up for me. WS According to stones website tickets on sale friday from 4pm and at sat game The tickets only go on general sale on Sunday though, Roysty. Thus if you are a regular at games but not a season ticket holder or vice president you have to come back to the ground to get your ticket on Sunday or Tuesday. As is highlighted in Walthamstow's post that means quite a trek for him. There will be others such as Southwick and pampy down in Brighton who would have to make a bit of a journey. A little harsh if they don't have season tickets for valid reasons such as not being able to make games because of work. I don't know why tickets could not go on sale to season ticket holders and vice presidents from Friday at 4pm through until before KO on Saturday and then on general sale through a voucher issued to entrants to Saturday's game after the game. It would be a little chaotic I suspect but at least there would be a better chance that season ticket holders, VPs and more regular fans would get tickets. Now those who don't generally bother can read the KM on Friday about the forthcoming all-ticket FA cup game and nip down to grab themself a ticket on Sunday while those of us that will be there on Saturday (and many prior Saturdays) but can't come back on Sunday won't.

Indeed, "If you all went to Halifax clap your hands" My dad got hit in the head with a cannonball from Ryan Royston when we were at Sittingbourne, when can he get a ticket.

Surely any sensible club would want to cater to those fans that make the effort on a regular basis so I don't see why you mock him when he has a somewhat fair point. Surely we could have a voucher issued upon entry on Saturday that would allow you to buy a ticket after the game. That could help produce a better crowd on Saturday as well and if it didn't at least you would know that the people buying tickets after the game would have at least bothered to have been to one league game. I still remember being unable to get into the 1990 play-off game because it was all-ticket (when the clubline said it wasn't) only to speak to a girl who was excited to be going to football for the first time. Shame she couldn't be there in the 900 crowd against scunthorpe a few weeks earlier.

He might be but the point I make is a general one. There are people scattered in various places throughout the county/country who make an effort to come on a regular basis but can't do that enough to justify buying a season ticket. Surely we could ave done something about allowing people like that the chance to buy a ticket on Saturday rather than expecting them to traipse back again on Sunday
