just show up and buy a ticket in the Saxon Chief. COYS Ah happy days back in the early 80's, the landlady was a season ticket holder but the landlord was Millwall, so as a favour I used to walk the landlady to the ground and back for an ale or two! Sadly, like many decent pubs it has closed, think it has (or going to) be knocked down!

Pub re-opened after the murder, however when the price of a pint was more than at the Pippin, that's a crime in itself!

Reading hack through this thread I'm starting to sound like nws. Well done on your self-improvement programme. Although as comparisons go it's a bit like a Vauxhall Viva claiming to sound like a Rolls Royce

Nice to see it's sorted now. Make sure you give him an extra biscuit at the next game. Why not a nice coat for the winter?

I think the panic was about people who couldn't make any of the allocated time slots, and who would rather get on their high horse on a forum than take the common sense approach of phoning the club. Thank you Mr PR man. I happen to have though that a trick was missed on Saturday with regards to improving the number of people in the crowd. I also think that it was not a good idea to have 1900 people at a game without selling tickets for next week's all-ticket game on the same day. If it goes the other way and the more casual supporters didn't bother because they are not so dedicated to MUFC that they didn't want to go back on Sunday or Monday we may not sell all the tickets. I am happy to give thoughts on a forum (isn't that what a forum is about?) and people can bother to listen and think about whether it is a good idea of they can just assume that I know nothing and label it as high-horse stuff, trouble-making etc etc. Ultimately, your failure to take in all that was being said shows your willingness to follow a dogmatic approach rather than sit and think about it. Did I just moan about time slots or did I say so much more? Why not read it again and this time think about it because at present you are being almost triumphalist about us not selling tickets. Great place to be. Well done.
