The pub by Maidstone East station. How long has it been empty? Must be 10 or 15 years. Would make a great pre-match meeting point. Wonder who the owner is who can afford to keep a prime town centre location empty and derelict for so long.

Of corse they are, with there 6 fingers on each hand they have now become noble keyboard warriors instead of agro-macho piss heads (shame it's still closed down) It's planned for demolishment to help build the upgraded station (if it all goes through)

When I moved down here the Vic was open but never went in there. You'd walk past and think, naaaaaa. Pubs in st Mary cray are more friendly looking.

i do agree that Maidstone needs somewhere a bit more welcoming to football fans on a Saturday, old fashioned style boozer where can have a good sing song before a game....if i'm lucky on the euros tonight, i will make sure we have somewhere for next season.

She made the excuse that she needed to go to the toilet, so we went in there and ended up in the snug, people were a bit strange but friendly enough, it was the first time i had drank in there since back in the mid 1990s, when they had 99p a pint fosters offers , but never stayed late there, would normally have a few in the whitehorse in Bearsted, get the train to maidstone east, have a few 99p pints of fosters then go into town
