The thing is with Jay, he can wear a clown outfit, he could wear a £7000 designer suit and I wouldn't care. He could rant on the dugout, he could be deep in thought on the dugout and I wouldn't care. What I care about is if he can change things tactically when we are 3-1 down in the first half against a team floating around the lower end of the division and inspire some kind of fight back. What I care about is if a team puts 10 men behind the ball at home he's got a plan B. That's the kind of stuff I care about and unfortunately I'm not seeing it at the moment. Wasn't at the game & my crappy computer wouldn't play the commentary . Heathside where were we lacking today?

Total lottery on that pitch. If there wasn't such a backlog of fixtures in our league todays game would not have gone ahead.Well done Harrow, eight goals past us this season.

Nathan Campbell should have started today. You can't get way with playing Alex Brown and Luke Rooney in central midfield against a half decent team (we got away with it against Cray). We had no cover from the midfield today, and that is where we lost it in my opinion. We should have started with Nathan and Browny in the middle, with either Kaiyne or Luke on the right. I don't think they were great, but they had a lot of pace and caught us on the break time and again. Pitch was terrible, and it was blowing a gale, but it was the same for both sides. I'd personally be quite happy to have another season in the Ryman Prem, and on that performance, I think we will

When it comes to shouting from the dugout, I believe Jay is taking his inspiration from Lloyd Hulme, who's rants from dugout/touchline/stands/ refs underpants and anywhere else he could get a red card were legend

Not about Jay shouting from the bench.
It's about tactics and that's where he is showing his naivety .

We have had managers at Maidstone who spend the entire match shouting and screaming and i would sooner see Jays thoughtful approach any day . Who really ever listens to the shouty pointy man . Game plans should be installed in the players during training and team talks . If that work is not done before the players go on to the pitch no amount of ranting will help during the game .

Just out of interest has anybody considered what our playing budget is? Or at least what it was set at before the season started? Seems to me we think that just because we have the crowds we have a massive budget and should be walking this league.
Given the fact "we knew the rules" and wouldn't be allowed up I'd be surprised if the budget was designed to win the league at all costs. Is it more a case of putting ourselves in a position to challenge and put the pressure on the powers that be.
In other words, the expectation was that we would be playing in the Ryman Prem next season having forced the 3G issue.
That's not to excuse results like today, but in reality we are doing pretty well if you compare budgets. My guess is there are about 5 or 6 teams who have a budget higher than ours.

Some of you lot need a reality check. We were never gonna win the league this year, even a play off place was beyond the expectations of most sensible people.

They are very inconsistent.

Dave's right, I agree we have some cracking players, we don't have players of the quality of Wealdstone who have a striker who has scored well over 100 goals in professional football, and a midfielder with over 200 appearances in the top divisions of English football.
Dulwich have a player who is a former professional in Turkish football an arguably one of the best players in non league football in this country.
We have good players, but we don't have players of that standard.
