There's been some ill informed rubbish being posted on here tonight about Zac Attwood's attitude and I think some people have lost sight of his contribution to the team.
Zac has been great since he joined us scoring 16 goals at a goal every other game. He's definitely one of our hardest working players and clearly gives his all whether he's playing up top or out of position on the left/right as he's been used on occasion.
Some people (who probably didn't bother to turn up) are clearly unaware that last week Zac (and Frannie) let Jack Harris take a penalty that he subsequently missed. Jay Saunders made it clear this wasn't appropriate in his post match interview and subsequently this week Zac took the penalty as Frannie was off the pitch. No drama, no attitude, simply doing the job he was asked to do as he has done ever since he joined us.
So please, let's support Zac, one of our designated penalty takers, who's delivered week in week out for us. Let's show him a bit more respect for what he's done this season already and understand that of the two people trying to take the penalty tonight he was the one who was supposed to and had been told to take it! COYS

As I stated I'm a huge fan of Zac and I'm just saying I felt he caused a issue when there was no real need 2-0 up and in the dying minutes the result was never in doubt, jays orders or not when the argue ment started he should have backed down for the sake of the team morale just my opionion

Why should the guy who was supposed to take the pen back down?
Zac was in the right. No doubting Rooneys contribution but he has no right to demand the pen.

Like I said in other thread zac 100% in the right. Rooney should of respected what his captain decided. Hope Mr Rooney dosent think just cos he stepped down a few leagues that he is the be all or end all. Well done zac for standing your ground. Legend!

Agree Zacs been here long before Luke and as appointed taker AND captain. It was Zacs call. I dare say he will be around long after Rooney gets bored of us and wants to play league footy again Anyway. Its done and dusted now. Lets all move on as one

He's the taker. He misses then naughty boy. Rooney misses zac in the wrong for letting him. Goal difference may come to count at the end of the season.

As with Frannie and Aaron lacy I'll add zac, so anyone who has beef with them come and see me.

I think their parents sometimes have beef with them on a Sunday. Better send them your address. Will you supply biscuits for said meeting?

I think this is now being blown out of all proportion. Rooney wanted to take the pen, he and Zac had a disagreement which Zac won. It was hardly crime of the century so time to stop making mountains out of molehills.
