This is exactly what they are trying to do ,Maidstone united are doing everything wrong by taking the governing body to court absolutely crazy all they are doing is putting everyone's back up. 25 years away from home now all they want to do is change everything. peanuts, read the article then comment, you just look rather silly otherwise

I am all behind the stones and can't see why the 3G pitch can't be played on in the conference ,I can't see why they don't want maidstone to make a profit, are they scared that Maidstone will become a big team again. UP THE STONES

I suppose it is too much to ask that people with allegiances will stick their necks out and admit this BUT......... Football is a grass based game in England Anti- football carpets offer an unfair advantage the hosts Tackling is a part of football and most people enjoy this aspect of it If you sign up to the rules of something, you cannot witter on about them later If you want to invent a new sport of tippy tap to replace football, do what the rugger buggers did and go ahead People tend not to like bullies or cry babies People have nothing against Maidstone, just tippy tap anti football and arrogance Even the best game of tippy tap will never match the thrill of a proper game

No, because they are world class and play on grass. There is a difference between not being tackled because you are too skilful and not being tackled because the defender can't afford leaving the skin off his leg behind.

Have you ever played on this style of 3G? Ask any players that have played on it, I've seen plenty of slide tackles at the Gallagher this season and no players suffer burns from it? Seems your jumping on the dinosaur band wagon and not being open minded about at all.

Voice have you seen a game at the GS you see slide tackles all the time and players get up and OMG skin is still on their legs....... You will also notice the keepers only wear shorts and not leggings and they dive around on it.. So please get your facts right before starting on the stones

I have played on it and slid on it with no issues whatsoever. Perhaps you can explain why it is used in rugby if going to ground is a problem as i believe they do sometimes go to ground in rugby and shocker they get up unscathed. I want the 3g surface we have as its a great surfacw has been independantly tested and got results 97% the same as Wembley so dont see how it plays so differently. I am a fan of the club and would rather keep the 3g than rip it up to appease the dinosaurs in the conference or illinformed morons on forums

Yes I have seen anti football played on these surfaces including the one at Maidstone...wouldn't feel placed to comment otherwise.... Of course those desperate to be associated with success will want to be attached to a team who has an unfair advantage, some people are like that. By all means use these nonsenses to improve skills as a training aid, but they are not for proper football and never will be. Play on proper grass and people wouldn't be having a go.

Mate it's not like we can rebuild the whole stadium and put grass in or maybe you can

By grass you mean mud? If the laws in football are there to not be changed, why is it teams are trying to make the leagues extend the season so they can fit in all their postponed games? Not only this, but the league agreed to make the leagues a 46 game season...I thought football's law were there not to be changed an everyone has to abide by them? Clearly not.

Well voice TBH do not give a f**k what you think..... I would rather see a good game of football on 3G than a game on mud oohhhh sorry grass where the ball does not roll or a bit of rain and called off
