If it wasn't for Adie Ohruru, I'd still be reading this as 'Oliver in the nip'!

I have no idea why Dartford FC are so anti 3G. Why would you want your pitch to be in this state when you are due to face the best supported side at home in the Conference? /photo/1Not sure if the link will work but you can find it on twitter by searching for "NWaterman09."

I suppose it's easy to be anti 3G when you have a lovely ground with the exception of the pitch built and paid for by the council, no worries about repaying loans to build your ground, they are no better than pimps, I hope it keeps raining in Dartford

HAHAHA...What a soulless dump ,im sure some amber paint would improve it.!
Dartfords comment's,about 3G, are based on hatred and jealously. The manager had no valid reason to be anti 3G,and admitted his own pitch was bad.
That's disgustingly bad is that allowed at Conference Prem level.

Did you see the letter from the Dartford fan? What a stupid Knob, but such a stupid flawed argument (like all of them) that they just make themselves look stupid. Reply to NLP already e-mailed by the way The irony being that their match yesterday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch - obviously not that good at dealing with a downpour after-all! I'm hoping it was the same director who got hit in the ear by the ball at Bourne park a few years back - that was, without doubt, the funniest thing I have ever seen at a Stones game.

I would just like to point out the tirade of abuse was TOWARDS Lloyd Hume for alledgedly laughing, Lloyd then responded in kind

The thing that realy gets to a lot of these people is with 3G we have a sound financial plan a concept many club chairmen ever seem to have have any concept of . There are many five year plans , and we all know what happens to most of them . Football clubs need as much extra revenue as they can get 3G gives them a chance with this and advoids lost revenue from postponements For any small club it's a no brainer . And coulld help produce a generation of skill-full English players .

Poor drainage. I watched all the pitches layered at Chelsea new training/academy complex and the amount of sand used was amazing. The emirates has the swoops in the upper tier to allow air flow and light. I remember dartford ground being very shady. If they've dumped a load of building waste under their pitch then they're up against it already. Your talking thousands to put it right. Could be all sorts under there.
