Groundsman, you may have noticed that we're all singing from the same hymn sheet here and that is because we've seen first hand the quality of the pitch and the benefit to the club and community. Your argument has no weight as we'll continue to support the club regardless of division, in fact misinformed people like yourself will only make us more determined. Trust me when I say this forum is rarely in agreement, but I suppose the fact were all saying the same thing doesn't mean anything against your knowledge. Just remember the fans pay the bills for your work my friend so don't be so quick to dismiss others opinions! I am saying the way football is set up now a club like yourselves can never meet the fans expectations and that goes right up to clubs sat in 6th place in the premier league its all relative. We live in a want everything now not prepared to work for it culture. The saddest thing is you had one of the better natural pitches and you ripped it out because you thought it would benefit you. What is benefit? Survival? Promotion up the leagues until you realise like Yeovil, Fleetwood as just two examples that you are in a league too far.. you have to pay for league one players on crowds of 2000? Yu say the benefit is the community, then build a community centre a stadium is supposed to be an elite arena to aspire to. You must agree with that if nothing else? Makes no sense whatsoever. Quit while you re behind!!!!

Some Tonbridge fans on their forum seem to think that we re about to ground share with them. If you can't help but have a peek, look out for the balanced views of portsniper and Charlieangel. And so begins the absorption like I said if you have a stadium in an area that can be used every day and its the nicest stadium why do you need 3 stadiums in the area and so begins the loss of identity and feeling of home. I have seen it happen and its already happening. Are you for real? After being in our brand new stadium for one and a half seasons we are not about to ground share with anyone. We are after all the 11th best supported non league club in the country

You obviously know nothing about Maidstone as if you did you would know full well, the pitch we have is and has only ever been the 3G pitch laid at the Gallagher Stadium, there was no grass to be ripped up, it was a bloody waste ground before we moved in, I have the ultimate faith in Oliver and Terry and back them all the way I am sure you knew what I meant that your pitch at your previous stadium was one of the better ones. I don't know anything about Maidstone united its true but I do know the chairman of the FA very well and he is very, very pro natural grass.

So if I read this correctly both AC and Inter Milan have lost their identities because they ground-share?
