Dose it piss anyone else off that they put "plastic pitch" shows the ignorance and lack of investigation as they would know it's not plastic Fibres are either polypropylene or polyethylene, which are forms of plastic, so technically it is plastic undeniebly so.

I would have thought it had to be a majority. Time to call on Helen grant as well I think it had to be 75% in favour. The Conference had suggested 75% but the reality of the situation is I feel that the majority will rule if we can get to that point. Imagine how it sounds, club can't be promoted to a league where the majority are in favour of a rule change. Untenable for the conference long term even if they try to stick behind they're self imposed rule.

Cool beans but overall it's not just made up of just fibres tho is it so my point is that if it was just like the old style ones then fair enough but it's not. Just winds me up

What a load of tosh - 3g is the same as an indoor carpet? Really if that was so it would be flooded not waterlogged. As ours never gets waterlogged clearly it has less ability to hold water than natural grass! This sort of attitude and nonsense/misinformation is holding back a surface thats not just better than most grass pitches but plays as well as the best grass pitches

The system you are referring is desso grassmaster and this is a rootzone stabilizer not a 'surface'. Only 3% of the fibres over the entire area are present at the surface and even then they are not in contact with the ball but below the cut grass line. So yes there is a major difference but i accept your stance.

"Memories of the 1980's still fresh".....please Fails to mention it can be used in World Cup qualifiers and Champions League. This vote is not about our pitch. Btw, plenty of support out there from fans of other Ryman Clubs

Oh and by the way, having worked alongside such player as lionel messi, david beckham, christiano Ronaldo etc etc they all confided to me that they hated plastic pitches but would never be allowed to state it publicly due to sponsorship etc. But you guys know best, better in fact because you have spent ever day of your life for 30 years working on playing surfaces for football, their development and construction maintenance and design....
