In fairness a woman with a softly spoken Geordie/Smoggie accent is all kinds of sexy. Has to be softly spoken though - normal decibel levels and its all kinds of wrong.

Sat as I was in the press area, I thought the first half was a great advertisement for the Ryman Premier league. The second half? Err, pass!
Finney was making his debut for the club, having signed late during the week; bit like throwing a lamb into a wolf-den by the end of the game. Credit to the team though, they never gave up and I feel 7-2 didn't reflect how well we tried.
Always thought the first goal in the second half would be a crucial one and so it turned to be. After that, there was only one team in it and but for the many great saves by Chiweshe it could have been double figures. Every time your boys attacked, I thought a goal was coming, they were that dominant.
Easily the best side I've seen so far this season, but I haven't seen Hornchurch yet. Good luck for the rest for the season!
PS That was the first time we conceded seven since October 1994...

According the the NLP we had 21 shots yesterday 15 of which were on target.
There is also an article in there about the vote on Wednsday and how it is made up.
As for yesterday, briliant all round, showed how much we have missed Brown and Phillips. Great management from Jay to bring Kayne back, the front two ran their socks off. Good move from Jay to take Dan Parkinson out of the firing line, nobody wants his confidence shot to bits, his brother Jack is much much better at centre back (despite the goals conceded)
But my MOM, Mr Flisher, when you consider his early season form it is great to see that left side with Mills back to it's lethal best. Flish did everything yesterday from attacking, defending, throws, and chipped in with a goal at a crucial time. Take a bow son!
Hampton are clearly a pretty useful side given their recent results and credit to them for never giving up....but yesterday was a huge warning shot from us!

Your post referred to my silly opinion, not my relaying of other opinions. I referred to your silly opinions. The inference being that it was the silly opinions you were relaying which, by your posting them, seemingly to counteract my presentation of fact, meant you had taken ownership of them, in the English language sense of the word. I could not refer to your own opinion because you had not given one, in reply to me, at that point. If I was attempting to refer to such a thing, which I was not, then I would have used the singular, opinion, as opposed to the plural, opinions. I think from the evidence presnted in the writings throughout this post you will find that I am correct and you are starting to embarrass yourself. Who was it that asked whether anyone's ever seen these two together? Good point! I wonder if they're like the ventriloquist and his dummy in that Anthony Hopkins movie.

I've had my Sunday morning read, better than tthe extinct News of the World with all the fish wives tales and comments being made. (No doubt Toon will correct me if fish wives are not like that). 2 - 1 down due to defensive a errors, not good, but what a catalyst for the TEAM . And I mean team. We played much more together with more completed passes that I have seen in ages, finding space and winning the ball. A great performance and I'm glad I was there to watch the game. I must mention the Hampton supporters who were cheering their team on even when losing 6 - 2, we could al learn from that!

That was me. Come to think of it I've never seen Bryan Reed in the same room as Nicole Kidman. Do you think they're the same person as well?

That’s quite an insinuation, and I’m not sure Bryan would like it. Mind you, I do remember Tom Cruise looking at him wistfully and saying, “You know, Grindstone, if he’d just shave off that beard and put on a figure-hugging dress...”
