Smith and brown injured and our squad looks short, very poor today. Flish is not playing like he can do and midfield looked weak. Lee worgan saved a thrashing . Next onto kingstonians at home who have yet to let a goal in !

All doom and gloom!!!!! We have lost once in 6 against a decent prem side, do people remember before when we went up, this is a tough league, we won't get it all plain sailing, after the start weve had I would have taken 3-2-1 record, keep the faith, I predict a win on Saturday against top of the league

I reckon we'll get stuffed on Saturday and Saunders will be sacked.

Come on people. Yes we lost by the odd goal away to an established ryman prem side maybe it should have been worse. But we all knew we would lose a few games. Well most of us sensible ones did!! We lost worse last bank holiday game in ryman south? And im sorry to say we will lose more times this season too? Instead of getting on the backs of our new younger players like davies & Saraiva. Lets let them settle into our club first instead of trying to destroy them after what , 2 or 3 first team starts ?? Are we not better supporters than that? Get a grip. Please

Yes we will loose games this season and most people will accept that. provided we put up some sort of performance, Today half the side never turned up, unfortunately it exposed hat one or two are not currently good enough at this level. Worgan was top class and made at least 3 very good saves, Micky Phillips was left to try and run midfield on his own, the forwards you could not judge as they had no service. Even class forwards like Frannie need service, today he got none.

And breathe everyone, one bad game or performance doesn't define a season, we brush ourselves down and go again on Saturday against Kingstonian, where we will have 2000 supporters singing and shouting our team on to victory, let's all get behind the team and remember we are UNITED.......COYS

We seem to struggle against sides who have more energy than us. Carshalton away was very much like today until Alex Brown came on & how we missed him today. By the way I reckon there was well over half the crowd (880 ish) supporting us today but unfortunately the team didn't give them a lot to sing & shout about!

so in full.... Worgan - Had a great game as normal and season Davies - My opinion Kent League to Ryman Prem Big step up and hasn't performed Millsy - Not really looking in the Zone yet Sobers - Looks too lazy and plays like he's drunk Watt - Bit too much Hoof up the pitch but has looked good Hill - Gives the effort but than gives up a bit too easy Lye - Has had a stinker of a start and i though this level would be perfect for him.(obv not!!) Phillips - Only player who tries to play on the floor and playing half decent Flisher - Same as Millsy not really looking in the zone Draycott - One league to high for Draycott doesn't look like the striker he was Frannie - Despite not having a great game, has had a strong start with 4 goals in 6 games
Saravia - Don't think he's had enough playing time to show what he's worth Booth - I think Booth is a Impact sub and is not fit for a whole 90 mins but has looked OK so far Brown - Has looked really good since the Carshalton where he was given the starting place and prove why he should start. Smith - A very attacking player who is learning, give the ball at his feet he can take players on but then can't put a decent cross in. Mitten - Good back up keeper.
Saunders - Is having a great start 1 defeat in 6 is brilliant, i just think we need some better back up players for when Flish, Phillips, Hill Etc.. are not having good spells
That is all...

I'd agree with everything historystone has just said. As a club we can't paper over the cracks, we need to address them and I have every confidence that Jay will do just that. Listening to his interview it sounds as though today's team picked itself, so it will be interesting to see what the line up is against Kingstonian.

We were very poor and we will lose many more games this season! One defeat in 6 I'm sure most realistic fans would of taken that at the start of the season bearing in mind 1/2 of the fans would never of witnessed a Ryman premier game or season to notice the difference in the quality of opposition! I did expect some kind of display or even a reaction or response but it never materialised they went threw the motions for 90mins! Today's game is best forgotten and move on as it was painful to watch, and the team need to learn from it and work harder to make sure we don't produce that kind of display on a regular basis else we will be in for a difficult season!

Who would you say were back up players? I had Davies and Saraiva in mind, but to be fair plenty of regular first team players didn't cover themselves in glory so it does seem churlish to single these two out. I don't think this one result means it's all doom and gloom, but I do wonder if we have enough depth in the squad though. Once we lose a player or two we seem to struggle.

Looking at the current table in 6 games we have played the teams that currently lie in 3 of the top 6 places. We are a point behind Wealdstone and a point ahead of Lowestoft, 2 of the pre season favourites.
In contrast the current league leaders, who are yet to concede a goal, have played 3 of the teams that currently occupy the bottom 6 places, and the highest placed team they have played currently sit in 10th place.
Kingstonian fans are understandably delighted with their start, and after today's game there are a number of comments regarding us struggling this season and having too many players simply not up to the job.
On Saturday we played the team in 6th, who came to the GS for a draw and went away with the point their negativity barely deserved. Today for the first time in a year (since Worhing away) we lost a game we actually deserved to lose. Sittingbourne away, Faversham, Leatherhead at home....games we didn't deserve to lose.....arguably East Thurrock in the FA Cup
A couple of games in 12 months we actually deserved to lose........I would have taken that.
I refuse to believe we have become a bad side over night and I fully intend to get behind all the players on Saturday, lets judge them when they have a few more games under their belt.

Very poor, good players not performing, and unfortunately some players who are not up to standard! Let's hope Brown's injury isn't long term, and is Charley Robertson injured also? He was taken ill on the coach
