You can get BF in the bar, but yes I'd agree about doom bar, or maybe Theakeston's Old Peculiar if I'm in the mood for something darker.

I was being sarcastic about he stones lager and the orange boom at £3 a pint it is not bad, for a session beer.

Agree with Dave, as far as shepherd neame goes bishops finger is the best, has been on draft in the spitfire several times.

If you like your real ale you should really get yourself down to the Flower Pot. Dave always has a wide selection of real ale and cider and it's kept very well. He is currently setting up to start micro-brewing himself and, I believe, this weekend coming he is holding a beer festival. I can't stand the stuff myself - drink Guinness ?

Real Ale = repackaged warm farmyard slurry for pretentious student wannabees! Give me a nice ice cold lager made in a sterilised factory from water and chemicals any day of the week.

Does it say some think about the Stones supporters that a thread about the increase in food prices is mainly about beer. It could re-enforce a stereotype image of ourself s. Note when i am not driving i stick to Bud , from the bottle it the quality is always the same .

I used to like the warm farm slurry, hence the beard. Beats drinking soda streamed piss any day of the week.

I never drink shorts these days. If you must drink lager it has to be Budvar - the Czech original.
