Well how dominating was that ? During large parts of the game we just played them off the park. Too many great performances to mention, but I think Lyzee and Micky Phillips totally ran the game. Ade, what a cracking couple of headers. Tactically Jay got it spot on again, playing Draycott just behind Ade. Looked like a game too far for Faversham. At times there seemed such a vast difference in class. Nice to see Uncle Bill giving Jay a huge hug at the end, he looked a bit watery eyed.
A message to Jay, thanks for a great season. I shall raise a pint to you tonight

Yes I was very surprised at just how easy it was. A great atmosphere too in the town end. It was a perfect end to our first season and its a season ticket for me next season. Come on you Stones

The best performance for awhile, getting that 1st goal calmed the nerves, I thought the way we pressured when they had the ball instead of backing off made all the difference as they were forced to give the ball away, to many hero's to single anyone out.. Draycott ran his socks off, and I thought that I would never say this but Lye was immense.. Let the good times roll..

Agree with all, best game for a while. Nice to hear ' theres only one aaron lacey ' chant at the end, and that he acknowledged it despite how disappointed he must of been.

The same in victory as defeat Aarron Lacey showed his class again, if you read the message board Aarron we dont forget the part you played in getting us where we are and where were going. As for us, thank you one and all this has been the most memorable season ever!

My Faversham man of match was a certain James Peacock, fantastic in that defensive role. My maidstone man of the match? come on guys, there were eleven on the pitch and you can include the three subs for mom as well. Unable to chooze so I thinks the goals will have it, well done addy, or should I go stubbsy? charlie did well in goal! thats it, i'm on the fence

Philips and Lysey were immense in the middle of the park, didn't allow Faversham a look-in all game. Ade was on fire as well and his two goals just clinched mom for me. Also, got to say a big well done to Faversham, coming over and applauding the Stones fans at the end. Not too many teams would have had the class to do that.

Agree with daveu. Presumably mixed emotions from Aaron, Lyndon, PK and Danny in the Faversham team.

Very controlled performance. Showed what a difference it makes if we scored early. Personally I felt so pleased when Faversham beat Hythe in the semi as I felt we dominated them a few weeks ago and were very unlucky to lose. I felt we couldn't be so unlucky again & so it proved.
Well done to all the team
Roll on next season!

Excellent game which we controlled completely.
When we were effectively playing keep ball you could see the Faversham players getting more and more frustrated. Credit to their players at the end of the game and the supporters were humble in their defeat.
I only started to believe we would win when the 2 minutes extra time was announced.

I feel a bit let down, I was so nervous before the game as playoffs are meant to be nervy, exciting affairs. That was just so easy, well done to one and all

I don't mind being let down like that! After the Folkestone game I don't think my nerves could have taken much more.
