I have said since we signed King the more game time he gets the better he will settle and the goals will come, the arseholes who were singing what a waste money should sod off and support somebody else, I hear Gillingham are looking for bell ends to follow them, get behind the team, Come on you Stones I agree with this. One of the unwritten rules of non league is not to slag off your own players. These guys are semi pros & like us have difficult day jobs to do as well as playing football. If they were better / more complete players they'd be in the League. Do people think players deliberately go out and do badly ?? It makes me sick that people sit/stand and moan about our own players. On the other hand, to moan about opposition players is just great to do. I was speaking to DaveU on Saturday & complained to him that there wasn't enough aggression against the opposition at the Gallagher. Sure bad language is not really acceptable, but we just sit there and effectively eat prawn sandwiches whilst watching the play. Lets make more of our large home support, lets intimidate people.........

Having started the king debate I felt yesterday was his best outing so far,I still stand by what I Said though,as we had 2 better goalscorers on the bench and neither would have miss that 1st half sitter,i also felt we was ok yesterday without actually playing that well,we seriously miss Flish

We dominated the second half without really looking as though we were going to score again. I agree that to be at our most threatening we need Flisher on the left, when he is on song and interchanging with Mills, it looks like a goal could come at any time.

you heard right mr helmutrash. even if ironic, kingy would have heard it. if a player has a rhapore with the fans then fine. if he doesnt.... Christ! Are you for real!?!? Ironic chants are part of football. Said fans made that chant after Kingy attempted a rather speculative volley from 20 yards out. This came after his goal (and a chant of his name) and was SO clearly ironic he couldn't have failed to understand the jest in which it was made. In the words of someone who passed away recently, 'Calm down dear!' Indeed, rapport or not, it was so blatantly ironic it's untrue. Bearing in mind the same people who chanted it immediately followed it up with "there's only one stuart king" or similar. Thumbs up FROM him after every chant. Surprised people aren't moaning that our number 7's name isn't actually Iniesta As far as the game's concerned, a routine win where we never really had to step it up. My MOTM - that waste of money

Jeez! I'm wondering what these supporters would have made of the classic "how wide do you want the goal?" chant that used get rolled out everytime we missed a sitter?

Really enjoyed yesterday good game and good atmosphere in the second half. I think I'm going to do all game down the town end next week. Good to hear a lot of people chanting " jay Saunders black and amber army" can't wait for next week against leatherhead. Your ground is falling down, falling down, falling down your ground is falling down all on dulwich hahahahahaha

can someone explain what danny lye actually offers? is it just some sort of running joke that he gets a game? Ball winner, stops the opposition playing, verbal presence in an otherwise very quiet midfield and importantly 100% effort every time he puts on the shirt. Or are we now going to start picking on players when we don't appreciate the role they have in a team ? Thought Danny had a solid game myself.

can someone explain what danny lye actually offers? is it just some sort of running joke that he gets a game? Non league football at this level isn't all about pretty football. You've got to impose on the opposition. To have someone like Danny who can fold up opposition players ( or carry the threat of so doing ) is essential. How do you think that teams like Kray and VCD ** started their climb up the pyramid, by just being pretty ? ** or Hythe Town

personally I think his distribution is very poor and he is a very clumsy player. his shooting is terrible. he is often found out of position. he might fall into the bracket of "midfield enforcer" i.e. he throws his weight around but beyond that I cannot see that he offers much more.
I can appreciate that he seems to be some sort of cult hero amongst maidstone supporters but personally I do not get it even after reading those two posts? olorunda is a far better player all round player yet stuck on the bench at the moment. bizarre.

Just like the rest of the chaps have said he is a very solid player and is also vocal which to be honest is a bonus as the rest of our midfield are so quiet, C'mon guys let's support all the players whoever they are....COYS

on a positive note, I think greenhalgh looks very promising and I would be pleased to see him get some more game time.
