In the end quite a routine win against a pretty ordinary Merstham side with the dodgiest of dodgy keepers.
In saying that, Merstham had a good chance to make it 1 - 1 just before our second wonder goal from Millsy.
Not sure if 4 3 3 works, but it's the best we can do at the moment.
Thought Ade played well and was surprised he was taken off, equally I just don't know why Nwokeji was only sub for Merstham - showed more skill in one moment coming on than most of their lumbering forwards did for the whole game.
Big game next weekend v's Leatherhead.

2-0 win against a very good passing side who luckily for us had no finish to there passing game, still it was good to see King score who i thought had a decent game, anyway onwards and upwards

Agree with you about King toon, the more time he spends on the pitch the better. BTW old boy, are you sponsored by Guinness / Diageo ?

Good result today on another day we might have scored a couple more, but not complaining. Merstham played a pretty passing game but it all fell apart a bit when they needed a killer ball. Thought their no2 was very acrobatic, I counted 3 rolls when Ade caught him. Would have loved to see Flish rip into him. Tough game next week, but the team are doing well and Jay has an embarrassment of riches to pick from now. Good all round performance today, but must just mention Micky Phillips, thought he ran the show today, another great performance.

Thought I heard the 'what a waste of money,' chant but assumed that was ironic?

Good result today. The ref had a dodgy first 20 minutes and was clearly affected by the number of people in attendance? He settled down however and had a good game after that. Their players clearly were told to break the game up. They did that well at first, but once we got on top then there was no looking back. Their player could easily have been sent off for his first bad tackle let alone his second. Both red cards in my humble opinion.
Well done lads. And wow, didn't kingy look good today? Held the ball well, distributed well and showed terrific confidence. Mention for the back 4 as well. Sometimes exposed thru the middle but handled them well all thru the match.
Come on you stones.

Thought King played very well today. Worked hard and took his goal well. He could have perhaps scored a couple more , but he is getting the chances and the goals will come.

Nice result today. Thought King had a good game again. Those fans were complete idiots. Phillips ran the show once more. Play football on the ground and he will stand out. Cant wait till Flish is back to create hell down the left.

you heard right mr helmutrash. even if ironic, kingy would have heard it. if a player has a rhapore with the fans then fine. if he doesnt.... Christ! Are you for real!?!? Ironic chants are part of football. Said fans made that chant after Kingy attempted a rather speculative volley from 20 yards out. This came after his goal (and a chant of his name) and was SO clearly ironic he couldn't have failed to understand the jest in which it was made. In the words of someone who passed away recently, 'Calm down dear!'
