Surely to extend northwards from the MS just means demolishing the police portakabin. The facilities mentioned are all on the south side. My apologies I meant the town end.

Apparently 'Level Playing Field' and Alan Manchett had a hand in the club revisiting this issue. The fact that a disability charity & a club sponsor had to get involved to sort this out is really sad.
It should have never got to that point in the first place.

Absolutely! In the pitch I am starting to enjoy this turnaround team more and getting used to yet another new squad but off the pitch the club is still not what it was.

I must admit when I heard that a disability rights organisation plus a club sponsor had got involved, it asks a bigger question. I have zero knowledge as to why our disabled supporters were displaced in the first place but the fact remains that the decision was reversed shortly afterwards, after representations and lobbying by influencial figures. Well it makes you wonder !

On the face of it the club made a totally crass decision and then swerved on it after a backlash. Maybe it didn't happen like that at all, but that's what it look like from the position of an ordinary punter.

Like the way NWS was treated. Shame on you Maidstone United FC Ltd and on the pitch COYS!

I guess it's easier to get things right at an individual and personal level for small club like Bearsted and Snodland. Facilities may be poor by comparison but they always treat their supporters well. With a much bigger club run on professional lines, I guess there is more chance of losing the personal touch. This incident feels like a decision taken at a time when there's lots of other stuff going on which clouded the vision. Lets acknowledge there are plenty of very good people at the club all the way through, from owners, paid officials plus lots of volunteers. They get most things right.

I think the club get a pat on the back for acknowledging that they got it wrong.

Tonbridge dont act this way and they are in our league. If this is what being a big professional club is let’s go back to being a part time real Non League club. I’m sure it wasn’t like this when we went into NL first time round or do I have amber specs on about that? Yes of course there are still loads of great people in the club of course there are but if the management culture is toxic they get caught up in it. This is not Ash out or denying the benefits of having the Gallagher and a professionally run club but you can be professional and still have a family and fan friendly culture. That’s what we need to work on. Just my view.

It's all water under the bridge now as it has been sorted but I would still like to know who made the original decision. Although its not quite the same but oop North in Bury someone made the decision to sack a volunteer helper after 20+ years service. The Bury fans went apoplectic, the net result being an enquiry was held and afterwards the volunteer was given his job back and several board members, including the vice chairman, were forced to resign. We need to know who made the dismal decision in the first place and out him from the club before he makes onother crass decision.

Unless it's that useless head of security whose name i can never remember, he has been hopelessly out of his depth for a long time and needs the order of the boot up the bum.

Won't have been security.
Agree with daveu, decision not the greatest, but let's move on.
We need to keep as much as possible that friendly fan/family culture

We need to keep as much as possible that friendly fan/family culture I think the way hbs was treated suggests that's already gone. No need to sack whoever made the crass and insensitive wheelchair decision, but we need to make sure that sort of stupidity doesn't happen again.
