At Saturdays game I heard of some grumbling amongst the great unwashed about the club kicking disabled people out of their allocated seats in the Manchett to increase the number of Corporate box seats..............vicious rumour or heinous act of commercialism by our club? Anyone know?

Well it seems to be a fact that some disabled (wheelchair) supporters have 're-allocated' from the Manchett and are now placed in the front end of the Genco, which is not exactly rain proof.

Doesn't sound right, doesn't feel right, doesn't look right.
Surely this can't be the case, and yet.

It was discussed on the Facebook page and then dropped. No one really knew what had happened.
If someone could explain what the arrangements were before and what they are now, I will gladly take a side.
This is the kind of thing the supporters club should be all over if it has actually happened.

The swapping of the camera to the riverside should free up more space.

Believe this is true from all I’ve heard. Pitchside is standard for this in the upper echelons of the EFL. Seems a bit heartless, nonetheless.

They were up by where John Gooch used to film (top right hand side of the main stand, if you’re facing it) and I believe they’re at the bottom of the agency now.

A while back i know of a supporter who entered the ground with a 4 wheel walker with accompanying seat. This person sat near the fence by the corner flag in nobodies way and was unceremoniously moved by our beloved security firm. This person was then unable to watch much of the game as they could not stand for long and our loving caring fans stood in front blocking the view. This particular supporter has never been back and now watches Larkfield and New Hythe. Did the club then care about the disabled? Did they f**k. The sad thing is we are not the only club that doesn't care.£££notes are all they are interested in.

Fair enough swordie, you can point to something the security outfit did a while back, but it's not the same as the club itself taking the action.

I don’t know where the allocated disabled spaces were, but if they were in the main stand but were only paying the standard price then the club had every right to move them.

That's a fair point, but the club does employ and allegedly train the security so they must take a small percentage of the blame. I've read of several clubs recently including Sutton United who will not allow away fans a seat disabled or otherwise. Now there may be no rules being broken here but it's just petty mindedness to shit on disabled people in this way.

So you had to buy a seat in the home end and keep your trap shut,
