Well, it's better than Osler-Weber-Rendu Disease (OWRD) - otherwise known as Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia - HHT!
I'm here all season.
Anyway, just a day away from the game, there appears to be no thread about Saturday's match! (Unless, of course, it was a victim of our Thanos moment...)
A week or four ago, this would have been a bit of a test - we were one point from relegation, having only won our opening game, and with the grand total of just 6 points from 7 games - relegation form.
Whereas Hemel were top of the table, on a four game winning streak.
But, how tables have turned since then (makes you wonder where that phrase comes from...) Hemel have only managed 2 points in the last 5 games, including losing three on the trot. Whilst we have hit decent form at last - 4 games unbeaten and 8 points from those games. And for those of you still bemoaning lost points, if we kept that up for the rest of the season, we'd finish on 86 points - enough for 2nd place last season!
So, a slightly different game from what we might have expected just eight weeks ago...
In form terms, we are 4th (4 games), whilst HHT have literally sunk all the way to the bottom.
Just one small, rather irritating fly in the ointment though...
Away, we are on fire - 2nd on 4 game form! But our home form stinks - second from bottom...
Even by our recent early-season standards, this is weird!

Almost November and still to win at home in the league - a boil that needs lancing and after creating so many chances last week, hopefully something that can be put right tomorrow. Watched the Hemel highlights v Chelmsford on YouTube and their defence looked decidedly brittle. Equally, they can still score goals, so we need to get several to feel safe. Just hope it is not 0-0.

I know three people that suffer from Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, my cousin, her daughter and her brother. believe it or not there are lots of GPs that are completely unaware of it’s existence.

Who would ever have thought back in August that when we are touching on November and we are still without a home win ?
Hemel are riding high in 5th place and tbh are probably looking forward to 3 points.
Stones players must be feeling the pressure of playing at the Gallagher.
Can't fault the effort of the team and we have plenty of talented players and yet !
We just need that first win and then hopefully get on a roll.
Hemel drew with Chelmsford on Monday which was another creditable result
Optimism of a good result remains and yet optimism previously has been dashed time and time again.
Sooner or later we will get a home win, but I've given up expecting 3 points at the Gallagher.
Only hope remains.

Are the Stones really as bad at home as our record says ? 2nd from bottom ain't great. Waited and waited, but the table doesn't lie.

No it doesn't I'm going for a 1-1 draw. We're competitive enough for that 3 points would be great but 1 point is ok.

Whilst Hemel have won 4 away - there first 3 games were against Aveley, Enfield and Weymouth - all in the bottom 4 - so possible there league position is a bit inflated - especially as they have lost the last 3 away. With our current position of 19th they might be thinking they could take the points which may make the game a bit more interesting. Hopefully we will break our home duck.

There have been loads of reasons for no home win. The last game was one we just missed chances on. Previously we were playing badly and creating duck all.
