A few snippets from the Slough fans forum
"Yet to win at home in the league this season"
"Yes, 5 home games played, 2 draws and 3 losses"
"Obviously not to say it will be easy, but with a poor home league record, we have to be going there looking to win and cement our top 7 spot"
So there we have it, Slough reckon we are are there for the taking, ready to roll over and gift them the points.

I have trouble calling myself a fan these days as I cannot attend many games therefore I don't believe that I can venture many worthwhile opinions. I will though try my best to make you all chuckle every now and again. |

They are forgetting about our 12th man...
Slough's av home attendance so far this season is 979 (max 1,203). Away, it's 860 (max 1,042).
Ours (league) is 2,103 (max 2,382) - two and a half times the biggest away crowd Slough have played in front of so far this season (1,042 at Salisbury).
If you doubt the effect that has on away teams, check out Ben Brookes YT video when he announces he's left Chelmsford (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGPfSr26trc). He calls our ground "your Anfield" and describes getting goose bumps when he played here with Chelmsford when he looked up and saw the packed Genco.

Slough a big, strong side, but look very flakey in defence. Stones well worth the half time lead, but Brown and Andre has kept us in it with important saves and blocks. Blair working really hard, especially their defenders are all a head height taller and certainly deserved his goal.
I think we need at least one more goal though.

You’d have to say we could have scored a few today but for an away side Slough could too. We should have won but you can say they deserved their draw.
Both had the put up with that ref. What was that all about?!
