Now we have established that we are the best team in the world again, we continue our inexorable march to the league title and, in a few years, league football.
We host Slough, who on the face of it have had a good start top the season, but when you delve, had a run of pretty easy (I know) games.
This probably fits into the "tough but we should have enough" category for me. If we play with the same intensity as the last two games, we should be fine.
Whose goin?!

Not me I have an MRI scan at 1400 thus ruining what would have been my first game of the year. I seem destined to wait a long time before I reappear😪

I'll be there.
We seem to have found our mojo at last, and the table looks silly at the moment - only Torquay makes any sense.
So, our 4th win and 7th unbeaten in a row...
At this rate, I'll start predicting 4-0 for every game again!

They won at Aveley, but more recently lost at Hemel and drew at Eastbourne. For all our recent form, we are still to win at home in the league this season, so really hope we can put that right on Saturday - and indeed the following week. Good performances like last Saturday's will bring the crowds in too.

The squad seems to be through the worst in terms of injuries and George has plenty of players to select from. 5 unbeaten matches has quieted the 'George out' brigade, but what a load of nonsense that was anyhow. Chelmsford already seems an age away and even if the team isn't 100% formed, it's looking pretty settled now. Still waiting for a league win at the Gallagher. Such a shame, it ought to be a fortress. Hopefully tomorrow the boys can put in a good performance and get a result.

Aaron Blair deservedly voted as PoM for October.
Let's hope he can fill the onion bag on Saturday

BetFred have us at even money favourites with Slough at 21/10 the draw is a bog standard 11/5. These odds do not truly reflect our home form but the unbeaten run is enough to stop the bookies from offering better odds.

Yea well, its a strange one But thats what it says on the official Stones X (twitter) Maidstone United @maidstoneunited 👍 Well done @aaronblair12 - He was your PotM for October. He picked up 42% of the vote. 2nd - Ben Brookes 3rd - Ant Papadopoulos But now I'm wondering, does it mean what it says ?
