This put me in mind of Question Time last night when the question was raised about Ministerial declarations being made public which of course they are, but apparently free to be viewed on the internet without a login or password "isn't public enough". Here's the full text to save you those clicks.

Returning to the home and away sections, work to move the away section to the south-west corner of the ground is still on-going. This means that for next Saturday’s game, the segregation set-up remains at the Genco Stand, where away fans will be accommodated as in previous seasons. We apologise to our supporters for any inconvenience but this high profile match has come too early for us and it just wasn’t feasible to make the changes in time.

Club co-owner Terry Casey said: “We are getting ready to host this massive Kent derby next weekend for a place in the first round of the FA Cup.

“In terms of the ground set-up and the need to segregate, sadly we are not yet ready to move away fans to the new area. For example, we have applied for partial grant funding of the new toilet block at the Total Machining Solutions (Town) End and this has taken more time than we had hoped. It is yet to be delivered and connected up. We haven’t yet installed moveable fencing there. We’ve had to revert to our existing segregation set-up on this occasion but rest assured we’re working to get everything in place as soon as we can so the Genco Stand can be a home fans area in all but exceptional circumstances.

I have been in all day and neither Terry or Oliver has been around to explain this to me. I had to look it up like a chump. The club is terrible

How much would it cost to build a prefabricated 3 step terrace with a modicum of cover on the riverside? Why didn't your owners ring fence some of you Fa Cup winnings to pay for this. It would have covered that as well as the pitch. 3 steps standing = approx 600, and would be an easy project.

Because that is going to be an all seater stand; four rows capacity 600.

Unlike some clubs, we can’t afford to spend money twice on facilities.

Our big terrace and main stand make Ebbsfleet’s newest stand look very ordinary.

Some of us have to consider value for money.

The club is brilliant in so many ways, but not for the first time it seems to forget that supporters like to know what's going on.
There are probably very good reasons for this decision but a 'let's keep it to ourselves' mentality' goes down like a ton of bricks.
We can all guess why the decision to reinvite opposition supporters back into the Genco was taken, but that's all we can do, guess, or in Mr Woodstones case 'imagine'.
Funny way of not communicating with supporters.

So we have the most successful Cup run in the club's history, but still can't afford to replace the toilets??

And this (FA Cup 4th round qualifier - when the NL joins) caught us out as a possible game where segregation might be required??

The FA Cup money is in the wallets of our underachieving so called professional, full time players. The money is also needed to pay the analyst, the analysts mate, the analysts dog,the coach, goalkeeping coach,a coach to coach the goalkeeping coach, a coach to coach the coach and not forgetting the gold plated coach the pampered sods travel to away games in. Money on toilets? Take a bucket.
