Surprised nothing on the forum as its definitely being talked about elsewhere on social media.
Yea, I know, we've heard it all before.
And it's no secret that Terry and Oliver are looking for out (in the nicest possible way).
No question, they have done amazing things for the club and its supporters.
They deserve a million times more credit than some of those gorms on facebook are prepared to give them..
This time I have heard the same thing from 2 separate and unrelated sources who both seem to have more awareness than my zero knowledge of the club's wheeling and dealing.
Of course it can still be just another rumour that doesn't add up to a can of beans.
But this time I have a feeling in the water, that something is stirring !

Just that discussions are at a fairly advanced stage.
The new owner ?
Absolutely no names mentioned but it was in the plural, meaning some sort of small syndicate.
Maybe this time the rumour has substance, maybe.
Surely some others have heard whispers !

I wouldn't give an ounce of credit to the couple of oiks spouting off on the supporters facebook group.
But one day the rumour will turn out to be well founded.
This time ?
Maybe, but I wouldn't stake my kids pocket money on it.

Openly being discussed in the beer queue and had heard one name mentioned.
I’ll say what I have always said, I am nervous about new owners.
I had heard something from a good source a few weeks back

Said person who posted about it on the facebook group even showed a message from someone who works for the club who messaged him asking to delete the post.
So theres clearly something to it

The only reliable source would be Mr Sword who seems to have good contacts but he is very quiet on the subject. I will not believe it until Swordy confirms there is mileage in the rumour.

Most of us has at least one source that says the ownership are deep in negotiations.
But that's about it, nothing more and nothing less.
What I have been told, which is worth sweet fa, is that it is 100% not the previous guy who was talked about.
But whoever you speak to it doesn't really matter a scooby doo, except lots of supporters think that something is going on right now.
Thinks they may be right right this time, but we've been here before.
Even if the rumours are true, what we know for sure is that its not over the line till its signed, settled and sealed.
Until then, don't suppose we will hear anything from the club, that would much prefer these messages were not taking place.

I do have good contacts at the club but if there is any truth in the rumour then my contacts are very quiet about it. I will make enquiries. I will now shut up and go away again.

The lack of any news from Mr Sword is disappointing.
It means that the rumours that currently abound are a complete load of b's or that swordy is losing his touch.
Both scenarios are cause for regret.
