Like others I have not been impressed with Ludovica YET. However we have only seen him start two games so it is far too early to write him off. As fans we should give our new recruits at least a chance before rushing to judgement imho. Just over a week ago I was close to giving up any hope of Coulthirst being of much value to the squad but the way he took his goal yesterday after the confidence he probably got from his late winner a week ago has made me re-evaluate.(Yes, I know it was his mistake that gave away the late free-kick).

You could be right, but, even when he wasn't impressing, Coulthirst did much more than I've ever seen Lodovica do.
BTW - what are your thoughts on the current mess at Reading?

Very depressing and slightly worrying that the latest takeover appears to have fallen through. I still think there are enough good people/fans with enough willpower that things could be turned around and the club could be successful again but we desperately need to get the club out of Dai Yongge's hands asap. |
