So we’ve signed a Chelmsford reject who hasn’t been convincing enough in those terrible park football leagues in Scotland and two youngsters from Welling and Northern non league who found themselves at Blackpool and Crawley but can’t get into the first teams so have been loaned out to NLS for match experience.
Sorry for my lack of enthusiasm but I can’t see these loaner journeymen being either playing for the badge or sticking around long to help the team function better as a unit.
Why George are they supposedly better than the recruits you brought in over the summer? So who of those recruits is going to face the wrath of George to let them get a game?
Underwhelming.
Of course if they turn out to be like Jephte or Levi or Mo it could change our season but we can never seem to hang on to loaner players like that so the joy is always short lived.
Time will tell. I’m sure we won’t see any of them on Saturday as they won’t want to be cup tied.

Maybe our injured midfielders are going to be out longer than we thought.

Antony Papadopoulos from Crawley actually looks a very good signing, hes played over 70 games for Welling and obviously Crawley saw potential in the summer to give him a 2 year deal.
He can play all across the midfield, which is a big plus.

New players in is a good move. Gives us more hope.
One thing I do wonder though is, instead of wages on Coulthirst, Bentley, Fonkeu and now Ludovica, why not sign 2 players with the wages of those 4. Get some better quality in that is proven at this level. If we get injuries, then we have to make do with players from the U23's.
Anyway, hopefully the 3 new signings today are what we need.

Oldboy pessimistic over signings he knows nothing about, before they've even kicked a ball. That was a surprise.

Mr Positive strikes again, how about this for a novel idea give them a chance to prove themselves before writing them off !
