So the team is stronger this season ? At first I thought it tongue in cheek too.
But when you compare the FA cup run team with our current first team X1, maybe it's not such a crazy opinion.
Seems nuts at first when you think of some performances and results this season, but comparing players one by one, perhaps it's not so nuts.
But I still think George will strengthen further with another couple of signings or so, as the season progresses.

Seen that first goal from a couple of angles now and all I can say is we’ll take the linesman’s word for it. If it was over the line it can’t have been by more than a couple of centimetres but a goal is a goal and if the linesman gives it that’s all that matters.

I have seen a superb photo in Kent online by Steve Terrell that is close to being in line and surprisingly it looks like the lino may have been correct. I agree very close tho.

I was standing level with the ebbsfleet 6 yard line and I could see the ball had crossed the line. The lino flagged straight away, good decision.

I wasn't at the game but the ball clearly crossed the line

Way too early and a little foolish to say this team is stronger than a team that beat EFL and Championship teams to get to the fifth round! However an amazing and great performance from the team and very sweet that is was against Gravesend! A lot of similarities to last year though. Maybe another good cup run will turn the league performances around too! Well done Stones and well done George!

[ Was that the best decision ever by a linesman at the Gallagher?

£9375 for a win, £3125 for losing, plus 40% of gate receipts (£16,000?). Plus TV money? Minus a huge police bill. Previous total £16,000. Prize money for beating £bb$fleet and gate receipts ~£25,000? Total now over £40,000. Prize fund for next round not announced yet. Birmingham City away would be the biggest tie. Gillingham or Charlton at home would be tasty. So it’ll be someone really boring away. First round winner gets £45,000 with £15,000 for the loser.

According to ITV Meridian just now, we beat both Ipswich AND Coventry in the FA Cup last season.
