Has anyone noticed a lack of media coverage since the publication of the article about George's reaction to the crowd after the Hampton and Richmond game.

The usual post match interview and match write up was there. What else is missing?

I was meaning Kent Online with no match report from the Weston game or comments from manager or players following the game which often follows.

We only get reports on KOL when he is at games. Also the post match comments/interviews seem to be transcribed from the club interviews.

Craig is not on holiday any more and there are articles on Tonbridge and Ashford on the KM website by him, but, there has been nothing about the Stones for weeks. Strange.

It was his report after all that stirred up the pot.

Definitely in the dog house. Noticeable on the back page of today's Kent Messenger. Had to quote the internal club interview. You can't have this going on. Not a good situation.

I only read the KM sports pages in Sainsbury's, so I don't exactly read in depth, but I've definitely noticed a decline in Stones reporting in the KM over the last few weeks. We rarely make the back page these days, and anyone unaware of local non-league football, would assume Tonbridge were the only local side of any merit. So bad has this got that I had to check last week that I hadn't picked up the 'Weald' edition by mistake!*
(*there is no Weald edition these days, just 'Medway' and 'Kent'.)

No great loss, though. The KM is shite.

I disagree. Always start with county news, then Maidstone, then Sport.
Most Maidstone United articles are fluff pieces from some new signing saying he’ll be great, so not a huge loss to see fewer of those.
On the whole, the KM gives pretty good coverage of news stories around the county.

Was there a report on the FA Cup game? Nothing on KoL.

We made the back page this week! But only a single column, the main article wasn't even football. Inside it was mostly Mangles.
On the subject of crap local papers - what happened to Downs Mail? (Always thought that was a rather unfortunate titele...) Haven't seen it for ages - it wasn't bad by free sheet standards (better than Adscene at least - although that wasn't a high target), but it had rabid loony-right/pro-Brexit editorials.
