Did I misread the club statement ?
I thought Terry and Oliver were open to offers for the whole shooting match or just some part of it.

We are,and I hate to say this, a nothing club in the eye of investors. Nobody is going to stump up £3-4 million pound for a club that has no real room for ground improvement ,just to small,no chance of EFL because of 3G, a monumental mistake by the owners by replacing it this season. The owners should lay grass now and that may, repeat may, just tempt someone to take us over. As i see it we are stuck with T&O unless they are willing to write off their investment outlay, and we all know that is unlikely to happen. All in all ,sorry guys, but you need to get used to the fact that this club may be at its Zenith in NLS or NL,and so it's time to accept it or move on.

The pitch can easily be ripped up and grassed should needs be but it’s unlikely to need to be within 5 years. Even with investors we are not going to double promotion our way to the league. I know you don’t like 3G Sword but I think you are wrong on this one. Also, it’s not time to accept the NL or NLS is our zenith either. It’s just not. We’ve been at this level for a relatively short time. I just don’t get the sentiment at all. Do agree, though, that the ground being built and the T&O’s investment in it being tied up in the ground, makes it an expensive investment for someone with little room to make financial gain. It’ll need to be a silly rich hobby owner. Most invest does want a do-er upper

Clearly they are not as it says in the statement Whilst retaining the freehold of the ground when are people going to stop swallowing the garbage that comes out of Casey and Ash mouths no one will invest in the club on that basis FFS wise up

To be fair there is room to get the ground up to a capacity of 6000-7000, there were even plans on the council website about 9-10 years ago of how it would be done Which is enough if the club ever wanted to get into the EFL. This was the plan for the town end

That was only one option. “If we find the right candidates we are prepared to consider the divestment of the club business together with its modern stadium, which is owned freehold. We are also open to divesting the club while retaining the freehold of the stadium. All options are currently open to discussion.”

Most invest does want a do-er upper I don't have a problem with 3G but the EFL's continued refusal to sanction them is a big put off for possible investors,I just feel that having a grass pitch may help the selling point of the club. I may of course be totally wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I feel the owners are not doing the right things to attract possible buyers. I also get this awful feeling that any buyer would be looking to relocate us to a ground in the middle of nowhere though I may not live long enough to see it.

Separating club and ground is short sighted bad idea I agree.

Re moving the club out of town to grow. That’s a terrible idea. I’d happily stay as we are in that case.
