Stones & Maguire have been nothing but solid for England. Walker is possibly the best right back in the world. Only left back is an issue. If Shaw can be fit, then we have a decent defence.

Watched the two friendlies this week and been completely underwhelmed, especially tonight's Iceland game. If international football is all about an 11 man defence and hope for a breakaway goal, then we'd all better hope this idea doesn't trickle down to our level.
As for the quality of our play, our set pieces, crosses and especially shooting have been utterly woeful.
European contenders? I don't thinks so. Piss poor is too good for them.

They were really bad. They’ll be much better. Certainly hope so! If last night's game showed anything, it is wingers are still essential. England very little wide and Iceland showed how difficult it is to get past an 11 man defence with short, precision passing. That and the fact our shooting was woeful. |

f**king hell, we are truly awful this evening. Denmark seem to be playing eleven Subuteo players. Nobody interested, no movement off the ball. Complete and utter crap.
