Highlights show just how all the action was at the Genco end!
Their keeper and some poor finishing somehow kept the score to 1-0 at half time, when we really should have got at least three.
Were Welling so much better second half, or did we let them come at us more? There was certainly none of the high pressing that kept them pinned back in the first session. Lucas completely unsighted for their goal, must have gone past four or more of our players, so overall, they got lucky and it really goes to show how important that second and third goal are.
That blatant shirt pull really was a nasty bit of cheating at the end, though at least it wasn't a dangerous tackle and wouldn't have fancied us to score against ten anyway. Friday showed we are much better against nine and Lamar had gone off by then, anyway🥴

The foul on lamar late in the game where the left back just grabbed his shirt is hilarious.

For those not sure of Matt Bentley. He set two chances up. One where held the ball on the edge of the area and released it just right and one a flick header. He had two attempts on goal. One he should have hit better. He also pursued and tackled back in his own area to prevent a cross coming in
