Who is the Roarie Deacon, the Liam Sole, the Lamar Reynolds, the cheeky dribbler who will go past defenders and cause some trouble in the box? Or are we relying on wingbacks like............errrr.......Temi? Maybe Kyps? (Hmmmm) Midfield looks like all solid middle of the park players and the forwards all look like No 10's - no Centre Forward or wingers? Thoughts? |

Seaman and Brookes can certainly play as wingbacks, Kyprianou too. Pierre Fonkeu is a right winger, I believe.

It’s not like Reynolds or Sole were exactly prolific. Both flattered to deceive. Outside the Ipswich game and his hat trick against 9 men Eastbourne, Reynolds was pretty underwhelming. |

Not yet signed but Bruno Andrade is likely to be the tricky left winger who can cross the ball and score goals

At least one of our defenders at the Larkfield game spent more time in the Larkfield half than he did in defence.
But I can't remember who. But then, sitting here at breakfast in Thessaloniki, I can barely remember where the stadium is...

Trouble is friendlies for triallists are like job interviews. Once they have got the job and the fat pay packet they can relax and not put so much effort in. That could be why he had four clubs. Worrying that he couldn’t even stay at once great but fallen Kettering - don’t they play in a park now? If he is a shirker he won’t last Long with George. Back in 2017/18 he was brilliant for Boreham Wood, scored over 20 goals in the National league and earned himself a move to Lincoln where he had a good first season scoring 10 goals. After that its not great reading Bruno Andrade's career has gone right downhill since 2019, so I really don't know what to expect from him if we actually sign him. I watched him play for Chesham a few times last season. He was nothing special, even at that level. And I have no recollection of him doing anything of note against us in the Cup |
