I agree it was almost a fluke. Other good keepers had been missed and this was a last minute signing. Intentional ! I doubt it. Don't think the club needs to play such a high risk strategy.

There are other decent keepers around. Henley has left Tonbridge for a new challenge. Jonathan North supposed to be retiring but I’d take him if he could be persuaded to play another season. Nathan Ashmore may be looking for another club after BW’s relegation.

The Jonathan’s maybe but not keen on Ashmore - too much bad history - besides if he left Boring Wood because they got relegated surely but wouldn’t be to another NLS team? He’s also getting in a bit surely? Covolan is no spring chicken as well so don’t write off the fact he could stay put after all.

Hope he stays though. We shall see, maybe the lure of playing in front of the Genco for another year could swing it in our favour.

If I was making a bet then I would say Reece Charles-Cook will be our goalkeeper next season.

I heard someone saying this at the Aveley game the other night. I reckon Henley could come in. Unusual for a keeper to leave a club without having something lined up but that would suggest Lucas has someting lined so who knows.

Mo Faal has said his goodbye's (twitter). That's a shame. Hoyte and Faal already gone, I suspect Reynolds, Liam Sole, maybe Chi Ezennolim (but I hope not for any of those three), and Paul Appiah, to follow quickly...........and maybe Lucas, who is by far our highest quality player. I suspect George will probably want to stick with Fowler, Greenidge, Brown, Bone, Corne and Rush........but there again George can be ruthless.............also maybe Bentley, Maybe Kyps, Maybe Klass..........but maybe not! Were Tanga, Berkely-Agypong and Adu-Poku all loanees? If not I hope we would keep all three (especially Jephte) but probably not. No idea what the future holds for Sol (More than had his chance to shine without doing so by now, surely?), Bivesh (although George seems to rate him), Conor Kelly or Riley Court, and Ansibia is already gone, in spirit if not in name. So, out of that 24 George may offload up to @ 18 of them which would make for an interesting close season..............!

Tanga and Adu-Poku were both loanees but Berkely-Agypong was a free agent before we signed him, having been released by Havant and Waterlooville

I do think he's good enough for the higher level.

Mo Faal has said his goodbye's (twitter). Why on earth has Faal gone? I know he was on loan, but only from H&W! Surely he was worth a punt as a developing player?

Although I'd guess that Orient will want to hang on to him - plus could we afford him?

Having a 2 hour drive to and from training may have something to do with it, in his interview with the KM he mentioned it taking it’s toll particularly during ramadan

A message from Dave U.
"You can all speculate but the manager and club know what is best. If you are all such experts then why are you not running a club!"
