I am no expert but it does seem that some players just seem to be very accident prone. Surely Sol's time us up now. Big question over Raphe too.

Shame about Mo. Not quite as good as Levi, but has the same mystery factor in terms of upsetting defenders. Wonder who our next tall, bean pole striker will be? Would keep all our defenders, including Raphe, who is hopefully getting stronger and more robust. Sam Bone too, who can double up in midfield. Corne is staying and very much hope Rush does too. If we can't hang on to our loans, then there are quite a few spaces up front, especially with the likes of Liam Sole, Connor Kelly and Sol W-S missing for so many games this season. Like them all, but are they worth the risk? Same goes for Berkley-A. Would Luque come back and is he fit after a year in the wilderness? If he is, then would love to see him play for us again.

I rate Mo. If he doesn't find a club locally, It would be great to have him back. Be interesting to see the kind of players George buys. Agree on those injury prone players. Agree that can't take them all on. Luque is finished now sadly (opinion). The injury combined with his age did for him. Berkley-A is also very good. Bring him back. We can't forget that a lot of our late season form was down to Jephte - we would be amazingly to have him for the season. Robust as well, rarely missed a game.

It’s a safe assumption George won’t “buy” any players.

Luque did score a week ago for Totton, I dont see why we couldn't offer him a chance to prove his fitness in pre season. The room Kyprianou had against Aveley, would have been a Luque hattrick if he had been playing at full fitness.

When it came down to it, we couldn't beat a second-rate side with one star player, in a game that really mattered and where we totally dominated the second half.
A brilliant (although erratic) season, but with a damp squib finish.
George did wonders this season, but I think we have to set up next year to win the league - the play-offs are too much of a lottery. And the current squad is not good enough to win the league, there are too many players who have the odd good, even brilliant, game, but then fail to do much in most matches. And there were too many times when the side just didn't click and we didn't work as a team - resulting in games we should have won, but which we threw away or dropped points.
We finished just 1 point and GD off 2nd place. Any one of those games where we threw away points would have seen us 2nd, and quite possibly in the play-off final. The championship this season was out of our reach, with Yeovil 12 points above us. But 12 points is only four wins, and I can easily think of more than 4 games we should have won, but didn't.
So, basically, with a few exceptions, we need a pretty complete overhaul. No room for players we like but who don't actually consistently produce the goods.
I suspect George is going to be pretty ruthless, and is going to upset many on here (including me), but that's what he's paid to do. Next season, we go again, but this time to win.

Jephte Tanga has been released by Orient. Would be a real statement of intent signing for next season if George can persuade him to sign but like Lucas and maybe a couple of others I suspect he'll be hoping for a club a tier higher. Then again I was surprised Corne signed up very early for next season as personally I think he's too good for Nat S. If we can make a few real quality signings early it may tempt others to stay/join to be part of a title chasing team next season. (I know cash is probably the key reason players sign but enjoying football and winning things is also important to some, it's why I think Sam already signed + he's probably privately been promised the captaincy for next season.

You have to be competitive with wages or forget it. These are not play for fun footballers. Its the way they earn a living and pay their mortgages/rent, car loans and living costs. £600 a week with Stones or £1,400 a week with Dorking Wanderers. Difficult choice .

Dont be too suprised if you hear Tanga has signed for Snodland Town fc.
£1,000 a week and 2 nights training (max), can't be bad.
