2nd impressions - hmmm. The away end feels like some sort of detention centre. Only one person serving in the snack bar, nothing for vegetarians. Their much vaunted new stand is built at one end of the pitch, not in the middle. Why? Not a bad ground, but nothing like I was expecting - usual non-league ground, upgraded peacemeal over the years. Makes you realise how lucky we are to have the JWW. And the pitch slopes! I thought the days of sloping pitches at this level were history. If you go to all the trouble to level a patch of ground, why not do it properly?? Quite a few of us went to Dover last year too, so we know what the ground looks like! I think you’ve confused the forum with your own personal blog!

But it’s hilarious to set them off didn’t you know, it’s just a bit of fun!
That’s what the idiots in our support were coming out with earlier this season. Thank goodness that crap has stopped now.

Gills' plan - keep moving it until we forget all about it. I’m pretty sure the Kent cup tie is pretty low on their concern list somehow!

If you’ve got the time to scroll through other forums looking for posts on maidstone I suggest you need to get out more!

As it does all the other ties except for Fylde v Wigan which is on BBC on Friday night. I thought I read somewhere the FA would announce the dates of all the fixtures today. Probably waiting for the Billericay replay as nobody wants to show Wycombe v Leatherhead. Exactly that, as it is every year, once the replays are decided tv fixtures will be announced. Not that difficult to work out is it? I’m sure we’ll see plenty more posts asking when the game is from those who don’t understand the backend of football!

Not to mention Facebook posts suggesting Piggot wasn't good enough. Probably the same morons calling for jay to be sacked this time last year

I've got mixed feelings about this, the trial screen we had I thought was a waste of money and didn't add much to our experience. In fact the brightness was distracting. The ads were distracting and when I wanted to know the score or time I remember having to squint. I mean, the score and time weren't front and centre when they were being displayed. I would have much rather us invest in a simpler display like Ebbsfleet or Tranmere Rovers have. Yes what a terrible idea for the club to invest in something that will pay for itself and over time bring in revenue.

Has ticket info been released for this game? Thanks I wish we’d get one of those website things where the club could put this information up...

I shall and a badge and make my own shirt. Least you’ll stand out at the ground as the idiot in an attempt of a home made shirt.

The club changed the badge as part of a rebrand. Grow up, deal with it and stop bitching. I don't like the new badge. Grow up deal with it and stop complaining. Get your own material...

Highlights in an otherwise frustrating game, Zavon's pisstaking step overs. My first home game since Weston-super-Mare super Mare and a lot has changed in 18 months!* Enjoyed the view from near the front of the Elvis End though it was hardly the wall of noise I was expecting. Sweet shop is a good addition. *not least no more British Legion parking. That's a bugger. Fiver for Fremlin Walk cheap by Oxford standards though. £3.60 at train station and it lasts till 4am

But yet some supporters will continue to say all of the problems are with the other fans!
