If we go down...I think he will go. So let's assume we somehow manage to stay up...what would it take for Bill, Olly and Tel to make a decision? Do they listen to the supporters or is it just about profit £200k every year? So probably need to combine the two and buy less season tickets! We somehow manage to stay up? We aren’t even in the drop zone and haven’t been all season!!!

Unless you go to every game, the season ticket is not worth it. Nowhere near a decent enough discount so might as well pay on the gate. Other clubs really look after there season ticket holder's, I think it's time now for us to do likewise. Isn’t the purpose of a season ticket to save money for those that go to every game???

We’ve been spoilt under the Saunders era with a lot of success in a short period of time. We were always going to hit a ceiling and we have. The ceiling can be moved and we can push up but it won’t happen over night.
Time for some support for the team and Jay, the plastics and glory hunters are free to go elsewhere!

The walk out song has been louder recently so thank you to whoever it is that reads the forum and passes it back to whoever does the music.
A bit of sweet Caroline at the full time whilstle after a win would be good, most clubs seem to have an upbeat crowd sing along song at full time, we don’t at the moment!

Looks like 2 of them have the sense to leave in plenty of time, while the other 6 obviously haven't heard of rush hour in the world's worst motorway. This is a bit off. We're on a 17 game run without a win, we've got the no 1 club visiting, a real test of whether or not we are going to pull ourselves out of this 'blip', and six of our squad can't be arsed to start out for Maidstone until the very last minute. For a game like this, not only should they have been showing a bit more commitment, but surely Jay should have called them in early anyway? Macclesfield had the whole day to train, discuss the game, watch videos of us, practise set-pieces, work on their psychology, etc, etc, but we just treat it as a normal game, and some players can't even be arsed to leave a bit early to avoid the worst of the crossing/M25. I'm left wondering if this sort of attitude can possibly have any connection with the fact that we haven't won a single f**king game since Torquay? Yes the fact they couldn’t predict an accident on the M25 means they aren’t committed. Do you leave for work 4 or 5 hours before your boss asks you to be in?

I would like to point out in a smug tone of voice that not only did I attend work every day during the snow, but that I arrived early just to make sure. Hardly comparable is it. You knew about the snow in advance. This accident happened just after 4.30, so the traffic was probably running as it usually does at that time of the day when the players left for the ground.

I start work at 7 tomorrow. It’s a 30 minute journey. Judging by the reaction tonight I guess i better set off now to ensure I’m there in time. Better still why bother going home, why not just stay at work! Perhaps the Maidstone players should sleep underneath the Genco stand in case of traffic? Still the morons would just find another reason to moan at them! I hear the players are going straight to the ground to warm up for Torquay. What about if we have a town wide power outage before kick off? I guess that’s our fault too?

I agree it needs to be played as soon as they exit the tunnel, needs to be louder too. We also need something to be played between the teams being read out and the ref blowing the whistle.
Some music when the teams re-emerge after half time too would be nice, perhaps a bit of Hey Jude, perhaps right before kick off too?

Having worked in the turnstiles before I can assure you notthe case! When someone shows their season ticket on the turnstile the button on the counter is pressed. Excellent. I was never convinced by the 'STs are always counted' theory. So, the figure they read out at half-time is the actual number of people in the stadium? Yes, as per the amount clicked through the turnstiles. Provided there’s no double presses etc, so give or take a few.

Yes you do, they still click you through the turnstiles to register the attendance. Are you sure about this? It's been a long-accepted 'truth' on here that STs are counted for every game, whether they are used or not. Having worked in the turnstiles before I can assure you notthe case! When someone shows their season ticket on the turnstile the button on the counter is pressed.

Not the plastics. Genuine supporters only please. Should be only the ones that went to Gateshead or barrow away then, 60 people tops! What if people couldn’t afford the long distance trips, or had work commitments. That doesn’t make you plastic. Plastic I mean the people who turn on the players and team and slag them off whilst claiming to be ‘supporters’. The clue is in the name SUPPORTers. Also those who come out of the woodwork for a big home game but don’t bother for many of the other games at home.
