Well said Edos some actual sanity at last !!!!!!!! So sanity is sacking a man on a one year contract and paying him compensation thus robbing our budget of £40 -50,000 at a time when money is short. If that is sanity God help us. It will cost us a lot more if performances continue has they have, and attendances continue to fall George is a great guy and I'd love to be proved wrong, I've just not seen anything yet to suggest I will

I wouldn’t keep Elokobi tbh
Move him on and get Neil Smith in, act like a serious football club

"Ripping out the core of the squad" ? If that's what needs to be done George gets my support. George has made it clear he wants younger, more motivated and energetic players without injury records to worry about. Amazing that some supporters want the club to repeat the mistakes of last season. Get real ! there are a handful of players good enough to compete properly next year - by all means rip out the weak players but some stability is needed, it isn’t repeating mistakes George needs to earn support tbh and I’ve not seen anything to warrant it yet

I understand the need to rebuild, but I don't believe ripping out the core of the squad that won the league last year is the right way
can't help feeling we have another painful 12 months ahead

I've not seen a lot to suggest he's worth keeping tbh Shonibare was twice the player I'll take your word for it as a virtual absentee this season I have no real say on the subject. He made 12 appearances - penalty against Barnet aside he’s never looked like scoring, or even getting into positions to do so In the same side Shonibare did both in fewer games Sol has a bit of pace but I’ve seen very little else

I believe Wanjau-Smith is on a two-year contract anyway, so it's only actually Bone who's been given an offer and accepted. George has got a hell of a job on his hands over the summer. Nothing to stop someone coming in with an offer for Wanjau-Smith yet. I've not seen a lot to suggest he's worth keeping tbh Shonibare was twice the player

With Sam signing, Shonibare is the one I'd love to now see confirmed for next season. talk at the ground is that he's agreed a deal for next year

Good of the club to release an update Being pragmatic, given that a fair few are yet to commit I think we can expect a few departures from that ‘under offer’ list

the one positive thing is that some of the more ‘enthusiastic’ younger fans do respond to a bit of ‘advice’
some of them were acting up in the Earl or Warwick but soon calmed down after I had a quiet word

After Saturdays crowd trouble I expect the police will limit the amount of fans we are allowed. The stadium will therefore be half empty. 😪 I think that’s highly unlikely - whilst not pleasant Saturday’s trouble was pretty insignificant, Police deal with far worse at most night clubs on a Saturday

First - and you fucked it up... (click on chart) View AttachmentNote: chart is based on number of games played, not specific dates, so teams will appear to be in the same position as each other in some places. Nice graph - it backs up the old ‘marathon not a sprint adage’ also interesting that Dartford have been top for longer than anyone

I’ll clear this up there were a small group of Hemel fans who were racist in the bar before the game - singing ‘no surrender to the ira’, asking why we weren’t singing about St George, chanting ‘EDL’ Same people abused George Elokobi after the match Maidstone fans took exception Security protected the racists - perhaps without knowing what they’d done Doesn't sound as bad as some were making it out to be. Thank goodness for that. It did turn nasty but to be fair the security and a few Maidstone fans did well to calm things down - Hak was also out doing his best to sort the situation

There was trouble after the game involving our players and hemel fans that I didn't witness but allegedly our players reacted to racist comments by steaming into them with fists flying all over the place. Rumours of the use of pepper spray to calm things down. If this is all true then we could have half our squad suspended for the next few games. Pts deducted? Let's hope not. Details are sketchy but there was trouble of some sort as we left on the coach around 9 cop cars had arrived and the cops were moving at speed into the ground.
