Without wanting to tempt fate it's looking like a 3 team effort for the title with ourselves, Dartford and Dorking. I include Dartford because they have home games to come againt us and Dorking and they are also on a good run of form. Dorking probably have a harder run in than us as they also have to travel to Ebbsfleet and Eastbourne, our games look easier on paper but of course it never quite works out that way. Whatever happens it looks to be a really exciting finish to the season so keep the good run going boys.

Ebbsfleet not looking too hard to beat at the moment and their record against other promotion contenders is a bit rubbish. Wouldn't pin any hopes on them helping us out, but if we win Saturday it's in our own hands, or is it still too early to say ours to lose.

Probably a bit early, we need a three goal victory to go above them albeit with a game in hand. One thing is certain, it's a true six pointer.

My heart says Dorking will trip up and fade, Darts aren't up to it - and we're just too good. But, with 14 games to go, my brain says we might have to do it the hard way, like we did in 2013 and 16. We do seem to have a bit of a pattern of playing a blinding season but not ending up first!

If we beat Dorking I think we will go on and win the league. Ebbsfleet have lost 10 games already and play a weird type of football for this level, Dartford are unpredictable and spend too much time moaning about refs when their strikers fire blanks.

In Hakan we trust.
Unlike some previous promotion seasons involving some luck, these players play like champions.
If Maidstone are promoted, it will be fully deserved. If not, meh.

At the start of the season I tried to predict the outcome of all matches, folly I know but at this stage I had us in 6th with 8 less points and we would go on to finish 4th so we are well in front of my predictions .😁

Let's face it swordy, your record as a prognosticator has not exactly taken off into the stratosphere. The team that Hak has put together deserves better than speculating that the lads in black and amber could just about achieve a play off position. You under-rate this amazing team at your peril. Stones are turbo charged this season and have all the qualities to beat Dorking, Dartford, Ebbsfleet and the rest. Our journey is to the National League. Time to believe!

Agree Nick. We have the best squad and would deserve to win the league.

The doubters have gone to ground.
This is no time for fainthearts.
The mighty Stones have glory within ther sights.
Hak has put together a seriously talented squad which imo is stronger than the team that last achieved promotion from the NLS.
The work ethic and desire to win is second to none.

The atmosphere and attitude of Stones supporters is equal or better than in the glory days of he who cannot be mentioned.
Given the poverty of football and lack of connection between the club and supporters that followed Jays's leaving, what Hakan has achieved is an amazing turn-around.
Such a good team, such good football, such great times following the Stones.

Stones have skill, pace and power all the way through the squad.
Has has built the best team in the league and deserve to be crowned champions at the season's end.

I love Hak's simple message to the lads that you achieve nothing without hard work. Hard work is hard work, there is no getting away from it. To allow the skills to flow, all the players have to work their socks off. Everything is looking good as long as players don't get ahead of themselves and believe the job is already done. One match at a time with 100% desire and commitment.
