So the big question: do we want or can we afford promotion? All these issues at the ground will multiply if we go up. Money needs to be spent on players so the ground gets nothing even from the fa Cup money. Owners want to sell up and appear not to care about the supporters and future supporters. If you create an inhospitable atmosphere then the results should not surprise you. There is only one answer, in my humble and no doubt wrong opinion, DAVE U for chairman CEO player recruitment and security. Have a nice day Yes we can afford it. Some want it some don’t. The rest of your post doesn’t really make sense to me

Very much past tense on both counts. Age and declining physical ability have robbed me of both activities.

We want our stand back. Yet again 800 spaces sacrificed for 40 away fans. Yet again the away team swapping ends in a vain attempt to gain an advantage. Enough is enough.

View AttachmentYup, its absolute bs. I dont care if the club say "its the police" the club need to make arrangements that mean the police dont need to make a call in the first place. Best view in the house, given to 800 invisible people. Half of the entire stand GONE.

When are you going to realise that the club thinks more about their imbecile safety manager than they do 2000 fans. Ever since we went full time and promoted ourself as a Billy big Bollocks club the treatment of loyal fans, home fans has deteriorated beyond belief. They do not care a jot about any of you,you are all just pound notes to them.

Need to calmly walk in there and take it I actually did that for one first half where the gate was open and the ends not swapped. Was one of just two home fans. No animosity or rioting. Kids who were responding to the barrier wankers were perfectly polite and civil to my face. Amazing what happens when reasonable human beings are in close proximity to each other, instead of being encouraged by Genco to act like warring tribes. Who at Maidstone Borough Council is responsible for ground safety? Maybe time for letters pointing out the potential dangers in the current set up. Same with the police. Wonder how the owners of Genco think having their name linked to crowd trouble helps their corporate image. These decisions are not tablets to Moses from on high. They are made by people, some of whose wages are paid by our council tax.

I got chatting with a Farnborough fan last Saturday. The subject of segregation came up - apparently Farnborough almost never segregates fans - like St Albans, the idea is to welcome the away fans rather than hate them. He told me that we seemed like a friendly bunch, like one or two other visiting teams - he specifically mentioned Yeovil. I told him what happened when they came to Maidstone - and where we put them. Segregation might be a big part of the problem, not a solution.

Very sad to see how how club treats the home support let alone the visitors.
Sickening !

Totally fed up with the club's segregation arrangements at the Gallagher.

This issue will never go away.
Supporters are just not listened to.
Apparently we know nothing.
Such a shame.

We've all seen it.
The segregation barrier fuels animosity betwen supporters in the Genco when none existed before.
Spoils the matchday experience and for what exactly ?
