All the best to him. I thinks he’s better than Ramsgate but as long as he’s happy.

Surprised no National League clubs came in for him, given how some claimed his not playing was the reason we struggled.
I thank Tom for his service and wish him well in his future career, same as any departing player. But he’s now just another member of the very highly populated ex-Stones player club. To be applauded on his return with another club, but quickly forgotten.

So some of you guys think we won the National South with Hadler because the other 10 players carried him? Hadler is good enough to win the National South, and only got 5 or so games in the National League. Now he's moved on, he's only good enough for 2 or 3 divisions further down ?

Seems a really weird move no? As has been said: he's National South at a minimum, let alone Isthmian South East level!
Surely means he wants to find / has found a full time job outside of football and now wants to focus on that while still playing?

I suspect he wants promotion to Isthmian Premier - life is a roller coaster.

I’m sad he’s dropped down this far as he was more than just another ex Stone to me - like Luque Ellul and Binnom he was a favourite and so I was hoping NLS for him at least. Having said that he may have other things going on in his life that made the drop work for him. I hope so. He wasn’t going to end up at Dulwich that’s for sure 😆

I'm starting to think that Hak's buys were pretty random - some worked, some didn't, but with no real logic or reason behind them. I thought at the time he had a cunning plan, but now I suspect he just didn't know what he was doing. He was lucky and they clicked as a team in the NS, but in the NL he was shown up for what he was - an IP manager at the best.
Despite the slagging George is getting from some people on here, I think he'll turn out to have a much better eye for players and a better network of contacts.

A manager is only really as good as his support network in regards of recruitment. It is hard to watch players whilst managing your own team. We can all blame Hak for the recruitment as has been discussed many times but I don't think any manager is this league will have a much better record than "some worked, some didn't". It's the nature of the level.

Aren’t all non league signings a bit random and hoping for the best? There is a limited resource pool, mostly known to everyone else, with the richer clubs getting first pick. If you’re in a flourishing team, ordinary players will look better. If you’re struggling, those ordinary players will look very very ordinary. Wasn’t Hak’s team being built before he took over? Sometimes it all falls in place. That’s why I’m quite happy to wait for future success. It rarely arrives instantly, prepackaged.

If Stones ain't ten points clear in September then GEORGE MUST GO!!!
