Unlike us, Woking are having a more than decent season and (for now at least) seem to have sussed how to cope with the NL - or are they just another sugar daddy club? Either way, third behind County and Wrexham, above Barnet, Southend, Chesterfield and a host of other ex FL clubs is not to be sniffed at. Am sure there are many, me included, who are not only pondering the value of attending on Saturday, but even if it worth listening to Stoneslive or following on Twitter. Wait until 5pm to confirm the inevitable or be surprised or even amazed? Let's face it, the omens are not good. We let in soft goals, our only striker has left and I can't help thinking that our current players have very few in play goals between them, as the rest have been Booty penalties or free kicks. There again, football is a funny old game and perhaps Woking will have a bad day out and maybe a player sent off off early? We can but hope... With eight games to go, if we win all of them, that would give us 48 points. If we win them all by an average of four clear goals, that might just be enough to avoid relegation.

That's a lot of 8-4 wins to come then🤣🤣. As I said about Maidenhead, we had a lot of possession but no idea what to do with it. I cannot see much changing in 7 days so I'll stick with my prediction of a sound thrashing. The club pissed me off at the trophy game and so I will not go to home games again this season, maybe never again,my mind is not made up on that yet. I will be at the Ladywell arena watching Lewisham Borough v The Snoddies where it won't be £19 to get in.

Don't know if they are solvent or sugar daddying their way to the top.

You've got to admire the quality of the pre-seasons this year though. And so early too!
Unfortunately, I have to take my youngest up to London, so I'll miss the first half at least. Still Bill will be counting me, whether I'm there or not...

George Fowler the latest player to suggest Stones are not the worst team in the league (KM today). The latest 'target' is to not be bottom, but even overtaking Torquay would be quite something, with effectively an eight point gap in eight games to close.

The table and results do not lie, we are the worst team in the division and the fact that we couldn't beat the 6 teams immediately above us re-enforces that fact. The players know it but are not allowed to say it,they would get more respect from me if they told the truth. We have got 3 points out of the last 54 and now he expects to close an 8 point gap with just 24 pts to play with and expecting Torquay to lose every game, not gonna happen.

Some Woking fans think they’ll bring 500.

Apparently not really interested in getting points and seem quite satisfied as only 3 added since new manager in charge. Then I suppose why worry if he still has a job irrespective of results.

Were you even at the game. We were robbed by the incompetence of the officials. Wokings first came from the ref playing an advantage we didn't have, and the winner came from a corner that never was.

Played well. Fought hard. Ref and linesman let us down. We were worth a draw. Woking didn’t show up until we scored.
Frustrating. Like last week, the teams we are playing are not amazing.

Well, at least Jay's record of 17 league games without a win has now been broken.
