Was always likely to be the outcome.

Was always likely to be the outcome. How did you know that? Captain Hindsight.

Announced but not as a done deal but something that was being negotiated.
You will recall that the negotiations had began to leak with the other party actually being named in the rumourmill.
Funny enough not that upset by the news.
2 matches under George has completely changed the mood in the camp, whatever happens to future investment/ownership.

Anyone any idea what the sticking points were?
My feeling is that the existing directors wanted to stick with the current business model - ie no unsustainable spending on players to keep/get us up, but Mr M wanted to do more of a Thompson.
Only a guess, of course, I have no insider knowledge or psychic powers, but that's my gut feel.

I have no time for all the Facebook wankers who want the club to risk everything.

Neither do I, but whether JDL's gut is telling the whole truth is very, very doubtful.

I would put money on the current owners wanted to take all the money out of the club that is owed to them or more then the prospective new owners were prepared to offer. So I think it's fair to say supporters need to be prepared for more of the same as regards to investment in the team.
