Great news. Get that town end built!
I wonder how much of a wage budget increase we will see?

Good news. Eternally grateful to Terry and Oliver for everything they've done for the club but now definitely feels the right time. Fingers crossed Manchett gets the right people in the right places and we kick on, avoid relegation and beyond in the coming years.

The end of another era at Maidstone. Warm thanks to Terry and Oliver for realising the dream of 'coming back to Maidstone', at the end of a decade plus away.
Who knows, maybe we can be the Manchetts-ter United of non-league again

As Long as we don’t risk being the Maidstone Invicta of the Kent League doing it

Don’t everyone be in a rush to spend their money. They may well be planning to follow the Ash-Casey model of living within your means.

Possibly a little vulgar, but it’s online for anyone to look at. One website has the last year turn over of Manchett, which basically a very successful industrial cleaning firm of approximately £35,000,000.
If this is true and if the new owner is a fan as stated the future could be very bright. Thank you to all the current and future owners, we all appreciate you 🙌🏻

I'm guessing when you say £35m turnover you mean exactly that and not net profit.
Not suggesting our new owner hasn't got lots of beans, I'm sure he has.
Just that turnover and net profit are probably very different figures.

Great news. Get that town end built! I wonder how much of a wage budget increase we will see? Why are people so keen to spend huge money on stand. Is this really needed at the moment?

Yes it is, then it can become the home end Just as long as people don’t moan when nothing is spent on the playing budget. You want another stand to house non existent supporters. Well done. What’s wrong with the Genco? I get it if we were full and turning fans away!!! Huge cost for no reward.

The reward would be not having to put up with people whining about sharing the Genco and suggesting we give away fans the end with all the best facilities.

Big spending on stands etc is very unlikely - the new man didn't get to be a successful businessman by throwing money away. Besides, the key thing right now is staying up, and no new stand is going to help us do that (or be ready in time!).
If he wants to build, my priority would be the Riverside Stand. We need more seats (which are also revenue generating) and it's a 'cheap' way of making the ground look more complete.
If he wants to do more than that, then I think the priority should be the segregation problem and spending money in solving that. This could be done fairly 'cheaply', or it could involve an improved TE - something like the EE.
Ultimately - in my dreams - I'd like to see a proper TE stand, incorporating the offices, dressing rooms, etc, with the MS extended the full length of the pitch. But if he had that sort of money to spend, I don't think he would be 'investing' in us!
