I thought Corne was a major plus from Saturday. The only thing is that he appears to be the same kind of midfielder as Temelci i.e. break play up, lots of energy, etc. I'm not sure why you would want two of those types in the same midfield.
As for Watters, I thought he was decent. However, he did give the ball away pretty cheaply in our half and Hampton got hold of it and scored.

Young Max got a 6/10 for me, taking up some good positions and had some nice touches on the ball. But is he a goalscorer ? Maybe his best chance came too early but what a time it took to turn around on goal. Did we see quick feet ? Not exactly. More like an oil tanker taking a 360 degree turn.
Sam Corne was a very decent 7/10, plenty of industry, passing and the rest. Plays quite deep so not over creative in the final third. As you say similar to Temelci. Khan is meant to be the inventive one but for me he was our weakest player on Saturday, pretty anonymous, needs to find his pre injury form quickly.

I am not convinced that Khan is fully fit and is playing because of our lack of depth in the squad.

But you can only get really match fit by playing. Saidou is a class act but a bit of a luxury when he is off the pace, like at present. Hopefully normal service will resume quickly, particularly if the club is to get the expected transfer windfall at the season's end. I heard a figure of 300k mentioned (in a Tescos check-out queue) seems a long distance away now.

I thought Max looked a good prospect but after only one day with the squad could hardly be expected to be at his best. Corne looked good when he came on and I actually think he's a better option than Temelci.

I do rate Khan, though not at the prices being bandied about on this board. I dont think he has fully recovered from injury, could be wrong, but a 75% fit Khan is better than most of our 100% fit players. I would also like to get a glimpse of Seaman hopefully for the up and coming Kent derbiess

If Kahn is worth 300k, then we lost a shedload of money when we sold Pigs on his transfer clause!
