Great news - lets just hope he isn't put up front all on his own to do everything!
Also, must be time for Olutardy to smell the coffee. He really is our new Jack Richards. Poor lad!

Is Blair Turgott available? I doubt it the Swedish season starts soon. He's looking in great shape too if his Instagram is anything to go by. Obviously been looking after himself in the off season. Hopefully he gets more game time this season in Sweden. And if he doesn't, he's more than welcome back here on a loan until the end of the season...

Olutade has left the club rejoining Leatherhead on loan, so we still are thin on the ground with strikers!

According to Transfer market Watters is a midfielder. I suppose that is better than using a central defender as a striker. He seems to have spent all his time on loan to lower non league clubs so I expect like Jake he will be a bench warmer rather than the signing that catapults us back to the promotion places but it seems the management prefer him to Ibby II.

Jake? My goodness I had forgotten all about him! Ah yes, he is our real Jack Richards- especially now Olutardy is back at Leatherhead. I wish Ibby II well, he clearly has no future at the Gallagher. If Watters is a midfielder/striker is he the new McClure?

Got to admit I got all excited when I heard we had signed a new striker from Doncaster until I found out they signed him from Ashford, not so excited now.

With the right coaching a player can develop a lot in that time. But how about we do our usual thing and condemn him before he's even kicked a ball

I know what you mean, Sword, I felt exactly the same - and then someone also said he's not even a striker! Lets hope his Donny experience has taught him something and that he IS the new McClure!

With the drop in income due to lower gates, and (I assume) the owners still trying to balance the books from last season, there simply isn't the money available to bring a decent striker in to save our play-off bacon. Lucky loans are the best we can hope for.
