Am I missing something here? Great player, great potential! If he was that good he wouldn't have played for us for so long and now signed for billericay.

It was time for him to move on, but why oh why did it have to be Bill and Ricky? Did Wheeler rate Pax when he was at JWW? Margate was my bet too. Ah well. Jack lives not far from Billericay.

Is that the same Billericay who might be replacing us in the NL next season? The point he was trying to make is: If he was that good why is he not playing at a higher level, than us and ricay. He had great potential but in four years hasn't progressed, he's not the first and won't be the last player who never met their potential.

I kinda guessed that Raymondo, but doesn't that go to show that sadly the Pax potential has truly died now he is looking for a home county Essex club close to home , firmly establishing him for the rest of his career as no more than NLS level or lower in Essex with an outside dream of NL, even if he would struggle to get an NL game. Its sad when you see it happen to a player you liked, but it was coming.
Still annoying that he's gone to the Clown Wheeler Dealer and destroyer of MUFC. Yes, I know, we were struggling under Jay, but HW firmly set us up for our fate this year in so many ways with his wheeler dealing ways with Jays squad and so many loan mercenaries such that it was already too late for us when JS and HH arrived. Lets not forget that. I SO hope they don't get promoted!

As a 35 year 2-4+ hours a day commuter to London or wherever my jobs have taken me that just doesn't cut it, sorry.
Now, as a PART-TIME player having NLS as his pinnacle, of course staying near to home would be vital. That's my point.

and a good point too. It makes sense for Paxo to return to part time at a level at which he is comfortable. Probably means he can do 2/3 shifts in his old call centre job. I recall seeing JP as being one of the most encouraging and easy to meet players at the Stones soccer schools. Great with the youngsters. Understandably one of our most popular players who always gave 100%. Shame about the choice of his next club but still wish him the very best.

Billericay are full time. Assuming they get paid. And what currency? GBP or Class A drugs?

Pax gets off & running with an ' assist ' for 'ricay @ Dulwich Hamlet - a far post corner headed in for the Billericay opener.

Pax gets off & running with an ' assist ' for 'ricay @ Dulwich Hamlet - a far post corner headed in for the Billericay opener. Pleasingly, Magnus Okuonghae got the equalizer in the final minute in front of 3243. Makes me wonder what the gate will be against the Stones next season. Correction - having watched the highlights later, it was an own goal for the equalizer.
